Where was I going to go? Being a regular at Golden Flower Chinese Restaurant, in the E.O.S Fitness Plaza at the southeast corner of Pecos and Russell Roads, I was made aware of Toni's Haircuts. Her high ratings, assured to have my hair cut & styled and beard shaved there. When I walked into Toni's Haircuts, I knew right away that I was walking into a hair stylist-owned business. My first impression was the immaculate cleanliness of the shop. And right when I walked in, Toni welcomed me. She knew right away the perfect hairstyle for me. When I asked her if she could take a before and after picture of my face, without hesitation she took the before photo then later on the after photo. The two photos that supplement this review are evidence of Toni's talent. It is a decades worth of talented hairstyling experience in Las Vegas. As Toni meticulously cut & styled and shaved my mountain beard, I could see her passion for her work. She was so passionate about her work that she even trimmed my eyebrows. As she transformed me from a borderline homeless looking person to an impressive clean cut person, we talked about Las Vegas history. The price for this hair cut & style that is worthy of admiration, is remarkably priced. This highly impressive hair cut costs only $20. I am aware that there are several local stylists that are charging exorbitantly more for haircuts that most likely are inferior to the one Toni gave me. Additionally the beard shave cost only $5. On a personal note, Toni's Haircuts is the first hair stylist-owned establishment that I can recall patronizing in possibly decades. Unlike the franchisee that I have patronized such as Great Clips and Super Cuts, I do not know who is going to cut my hair. I can have a talented stylist on one visit and on the next a hair butcher. As of this writing, when I return to Toni's I am guaranteed to have Toni work on my hair. Additionally, unlike the franchisees, Toni did not upsell me on hair products. There is substantial evidence that Toni does a remarkable job cutting & styling hair and trimming beards. The included "before and after" photos are that evidence.
