I've been trying to get in touch with Amaury for over two years regarding my surfboard, and I am at my wit's end. Every time I go to his shop, it's either closed or he doesn't have my board. I strongly believe he has either lost it or sold it, yet he has the audacity to tell me I should pay him for "holding" it--when he's been completely unresponsive to my calls and texts asking for updates.
This board wasn't just any board--it was my first surfboard, the one my dad bought me, and losing it has been heartbreaking. I understand personal hardships happen; Amaury told me to be patient after his mother passed away, and I respected that. But since then, he has not returned a single call or text. When I went to his store recently, he claimed my board was at another warehouse and that I needed to call before going there--but he still never responds.
Amaury may be a nice person, and I want to believe that--but this is extremely unprofessional. If you are reading this, Amaury, or your family: please, just give me back my surfboard. I don't care in what condition--it's mine, and I just want it back.
I'm posting this review because I want to warn others and, more importantly, because I'm desperate to get my board returned. read more
