The bus left the Sycamore Street station and headed right straight to Boston. Didn't even stop and there were about 6 other people waiting there too. I only found out about this by calling dispatch. Who runs a bus company and avoids stops because they forget or don't feel like stopping? I sent an email the next day and have not heard back from them to this day. Poor customer service. The bus drivers can be cranky too. You better be able to lug your bags yourself under that bus, because there is no guarantee that he/she will help you with that. Since they are the only bus company in the city that goes to Boston, I guess we're stuck with this. I do hope the train comes to this area and then we can say bye bye to Dattco.

Hov lane is missed 99% of the time because we end up there late at 10:03-10:10. If the bus would show up on time then we would be in the hov lane in the morning. That's what $320 a month get you. Also you won't make it to work when one of the drivers calls out sick because dattco can't create a contingency plan. POOR!

We were told to wait for the next bus (at 9:30 pm), which would "probably" have enough seats. "Wait for the next bus" is not sound operational policy. Returning from Hyannis on July 8, the bus left 20 minutes late--which is acceptable. But then the driver dawdled and struggled at each and every stop. When the bus arrived at my terminal, it was more than an hour after the expected arrival and I needed special compensation to make my flight. I've seen P&B drivers heroically make up time before. This driver almost seemed intent on making matters worse.

Paid an additional 40 to switch my boat from Sat 11:15am to Friday at 7:45pm. Customer service was rude and condescending both times I spoke to them and were not willing to refund the $40 change fee but said they wouldn't charge a new one to switch my boat back to Saturday as if I had a choice! Arrived at the dock at 9am Saturday and they will not allow you to store your bags on the luggage racks like Steamship does. Will not ride with Seastreak again. More money and less enjoyable, will ride with steamship from now on.

It's a far more appealing prospect to take a ferry and then train from the island up to Boston, if/when needed. It's unfortunate that their winter service "test" of two years ago was not continued, as I understand that made a significant difference for those in the trades industry who commute from the South Coast or Rhode Island area over to the islands. This trip today was on the larger of the two ferries that they seem to run regularly to and from the islands. I was impressed with the number of seats, especially in the second level, and the clean, modern look of the whole interior. I wasn't clear before boarding if there would be outside access and so it was a welcome surprise to find the top deck mostly open and with plenty of space. Of course I knew the wind would pick up once we got out on the open water. However, the ride was less topsy-turvy than I might have expected, and the crew was clearly familiar with the most efficient way to navigate the vessel, especially through the tricky Woods Hole passage. After that, MV was in sight again and it was a short home stretch!
