My daughter says it's the best she's had - and she grew up near Tampa where you can get a dang good Cuban. Again, the meat was so tender and the flavors were melded together perfectly. They use a medium roast intelligentsia coffee and you can get it in a paper cup or a mug (I opted for a mug). They play old school rock which is my jam but if it is not yours, it is not loud enough to drown out conversations or that ear buds can't drown it out. For breakfast, I opted for a breakfast sandwich on a croissant with a fried egg, cheddar, bacon. But I got the feeling that the bread, egg cooking style, breakfast meat and cheese were customizable by the questions the server asked. So if my fave is not yours, you could get it your way bc the menu says scrambled and I got mine hard fried. Staff are super friendly and accommodating. I am usually able to get free refills when I go. I really enjoy this place, but at 10-12 tables total (inside and outside) it can get a little crowded.

They recommended about a week in advance for a custom cake. This one was on the smaller size but perfect for 4 people and we finished it! I went with a pink velvet flavor. It was amazing! Amaretto flavored cake with a buttercream frosting. The cake was super moist and delicious. The buttercream was the perfect compliment. Not overly sweet and didn't taste like butter. I know that sounds ridiculous but some buttercreams are so firm and taste like I'm eating a stick of butter, this was well done. I definitely still recommend leaving the cake out of the fridge for at least 20 minutes prior to serving so it's not as firm. Not to mention it's beautifully decorated and blew my family away! Can't wait to return to try some other goodies!
