I feel Robbed....$660 later....came home and just put a solid color over what looked like washed…read moreout colorless hair. I have always had a balayage with browns and some lighter pieces to frame my face. My hairstylist moved and I was referred by a friend to Maria.. I went toMaria and told her to touch up the grown out sides. Not much just a partial. I Refered to them as the side black holes. Instead of doing that she starts putting foils all over my hair. The newly bleached pieces had an orange tone. Charged me $220. I told her I'd be back so she can lift those pieces again. After bleaching it she suggested using a color extractor (stripping my hair). She did it twice because she said some pieces were still dark. Then she put a permanent color over my hair. I kept asking what color it was going to turn? She said with stripping you never know. Long story short. I looked at the final result and was not happy. She could see it on my face. When I told her I wasn't happy she said, I did all that work and it's like you're giving me a slap in the face...is it that you don't want to pay? I said, in not that type of person. She said well I just made a phone call if you walk out. Threatening me to call the police. The total was according to her $440. I asked her just put some pigment or some brown and I'll go home and wash my hair myself. She said, I'm done, you want pigment, here is a cocoa temporary color bottle you can take home. It's $20 my price. She humiliated me, threatened, called me insecure She said "no matter what I do you're not gonna be happy it's your own insecurities." As women, we all have insecurities but we go to a hairdresser to get what we ask for and walk out of the salon usually feeling good. Instead, For $660 total I walked out with over processed hair, not what I initially asked for and feeling robbed!

Won't be back ever! The owner Maria is pretty crooked, she "balayage'd" my hair -- she left bleach…read moreon for an hour because she was doing 3 other peoples hair and it ended up super dry. Then she missed half the things I wanted, leaves it dark on the money piece money piece isn't dark I never heard of that. She charged me close to $300. I could've gone to la to get my hair done and it would've been right! She teases hair like it's all going to break off so rough so hard I've never gotten balayage like that and I've gotten it done multiple times before with other stylists. She used semi permanent on n grey and within 1-2 washes could see my Grey. My hair was orange, no money piece grey showing & so dry. I told her about the money piece and the grey she scheduled me for another appt and I figured she was fixing the issues but instead she turns around charges me another $200 for things she should have done the first time. She's a crook! And she still didn't do the money piece after hours of waiting and being there. She doesn't have any idea what she is doing and she is simply trying to rip people off by having them come multiple times and pay each time instead of fixing what she didn't do right the first time. My mom went to get her hair done after my first appt and instead of toning her hair lighter color to get rid of orange she toned it dark so she would have to come back. She told her she needs a color extractor as she told me yet she didn't use it she wanted us to come back to do it again and pay more. Luckily we found hairstylists who know how to balayage and do hair right and paid half the price and my hair is soft perfect color no extractor needed just an honest heart and knowledge as my new hairdresser has! She needs to take some classes on both! Will never go back and make sure anyone I know does the same.
