Ámala has a large selection of teas and a menu for wellness services

Their people skills are out of this world. Such nice people. Establishment was very clean and very professional. They offer so much on their wellness menu

They can make it hot or cold!

Hubby and I drove to Sonora for a weekend getaway. Found Amala and had to go back there the following day for a treat. You should try their services. It's an awesome experience. The 2 ladies who helped us were so nice. We tried the ionic foot detox and felt so good afterwards. I wish they're closer to our home so I could go there regularly. Great products and tea! You should visit them if you're in town.

Menu and a take home Sugar scrub for $5!

We just went here for a girls petite retreat and it was FABULOUS! We had Kate & Liz do a soothing foot bath soak with A sugar scrub along with sipping a delicious Iced Tea with Honey! We left refreshed and rejuvenated to go shopping in the local quaint downtown and eventually stopped to have a delightful lunch! I'm soooo coming back for a scalp massage and another refreshing Tea! Thank you Amala for having such delightful and informative employees! This actually felt like a weekend away! Namaste!

Hours later and I'm still enjoying my delicious detox tea. From the moment you walk into AMALA you will find yourself taking a huge sigh of relaxation. They serve premium teas and have experienced staff to help you decide what the best fit will be. Whether you want to upgrade your coffee routine to a healthier option and meet with friends in the cafe or have any of their foot soaks or spa treatments, you will want to make this a regular stop. Each time I go I feel reinvigorated and know that I'm treating my body. Check it out today!

I'd rather get it out than keep it all in!

Three times now I have visited for detox soaks and yummy tea. Very friendly, very peaceful space. Go alone or with a friend. I recommend an appointment, especially on weekends!

An absolute must-visit on Washington Street in Sonora!…read more The Local Collective is exactly what its name represents: a place rooted in genuine care for people, families, and the local community. What stands out immediately is how kind and welcoming the owners are. This is truly a family-run shop, and you can feel the intention behind everything they do. They aren't just stocking shelves, they are thoughtfully sourcing items they would confidently choose for their own family and children. That level of care is rare. We bought a hoodie, hat, and t-shirt for my daughter's birthday, and she has been wearing them every single day since. The quality is incredible! I mean really. These are not cheaply made pieces. You can feel the difference right away in the fabric, the fit, and the durability. What makes this place even more special is the heart behind it. It's not just about business. It is about people. They genuinely care about the families who walk through their doors and he went out of his way to offer products that reflect that. They do not jack up the prices but the quality is better than an REI or Sax 5th Avenue. I know good quality and these items are made very well. We also purchased a tumbler for my children, bird house, two stuffed animals, and a few other little things and the quality and make are consistent throughout the store no matter what it is. Having seven children we know good quality items. Unfortunately, it is not an unfamiliar experience to see things break after purchasing. Not here! If you're looking for meaningful, high-quality items and want to support a family that truly puts other families first, this is a place you'll want to keep coming back to and buying from again and again.

This is probably my favorite local shop to get coffee. It tastes the same every time (yummy &…read moreconsistent) and I trust that I'm getting the decaf espresso that I ask for. I've also purchased many items from here like mugs, candles, t shirts, children's sensory toys, stickers, jewelry, sauces, and a Christmas advent calendar. I never really know what I'm going to find in Local Collective, but there's always something I want. I also love love loveee the atmosphere. It's so welcoming, the music's always on point, and the staff is very friendly. 10/10 my favorite shop in downtown Sonora.

I appreciate that this little wondrous health gem has such a diverse selection of groceries to accommodate different dietary needs. Though their produce is pricey - it's always on point. The blueberries I bought here recently were incredible. If you're looking for quality meats, coconut yogurt, low carb snacks, vegan goodies and everything in between - this is your spot. I particularly enjoy how many local products they now stock here. From fresh baked sourdough bread, to handmade desserts, to homemade teas, face sprays and elixirs - Nature's Whole Food Depot is all about showcasing local artists, bakers, and healers. Be sure to also stay tuned their FB page to learn about events that they host in their store. They spotlight everything from foraging to breath work and more. I am vegetarian, so having a whole section to myself is a blessing. What we ordered: inari 5/5 takoyaki 5/5 yakitori 4/5 mango matcha smoothie w/ honey boba 5/5 piña colada smoothie w/ honey boba 5/5 vegi black garlic oil 5/5 (tasted exactly like lemon pepper chicken) The ambience is cozy and parking is a little limited. I don't think for this small town it is much of an issue.

Upon entering we were greeted and invited to sit anywhere. I went with my husband, though there wasn't a lot of two top seats, we made ourself comfortable in the corner. Staff was friendly, though i'm not sure why even have 3 wait staff on when patrons put in the order themselves on paper. waitress just grabs and goes. I enjoy having conversation and feeling taken care of at a restaurant, this provides a disconnect and makes things off putting. Menu does not have prices. This is concerning as a patron and dissolves the little trust built. Taro Ube Boba was amazing, although the consistency of the boba was starting to get gummy. it was towards the end of the day, and happens at most restaurants. 5/5 We ordered the octopus balls and were accidentally given the gyoza - it was pleasant. Although seemed to be a bit watery from the boiling process. However nothing to write home about. This item was not on the final bill. 3/5 octopus balls had nice flavor. those unfamiliar may complain about the strong fish but that is how the dish is prepared. I wish it was prepared with a firmer cook, as it basically disintegrates the moment it enters your mouth. I believe the correct cook should allow you to take a single bite without it collapsing. 3/5 pork belly ramen: a single piece of overcooked and grey pork belly. Dry as the desert. all items seemed to be purchased from savemart next door. the single redeeming item in the entire bowl was the marinated shiitake mushrooms. 2/5 the most unfortunate part of our meal was the poke bowl. incredibly regrettable with zero redeeming qualities. i specifically beg everyone not to order the shrimp. This must have been a 91 count. Tasted like a wet freezer. Gave my husband and I the heebie jeebies. -10/5 i'd be embarrassed to serve this at my restaurant. I am a huge asian food enthusiast and that's why I beg everyone to avoid this place. There's a sign on the wall saying it's been rated top 100 Ramen spots in california. that is either some crazy joke or they are number 100.
