They wrap it better than chipotle and that damn thing is so stuffed you honestly say "I only paid this much?!" Pair it with the Salsa rojo with each bite and you'll be hooked. They do come with sour cream, "crema", I always say no crema. It ruins the flavor profile of the Al Pastor. Alright, now the thing you were wanting to know, tacos. Authentic. Cantina. Flat top grilled meat and tortillas (yes they heat them on the flat top as the meat and oil. Tortillas are typical maize but I am a harina Chico myself (that's flour boy for you plebeians, just kidding but it's good to note that if you prefer it tell them "Puedo tener tortillas de harina" because I believe you should make the effort to learn someone's language if you're going to partake in their culture and food. These are hard working and sincere people! You may ask now, "okay dude but what meat should I get?" Honestly, you'll never go wrong with Asada but the Lomo de res (rib eye) is soooo rich and so good! I ordered a taco and a tostada, both with chicken. When we got our checks at the end of the meal, they had automatically added a 20% tip to the check. You can only pay via an app or online, so be prepared for that. You must pay very close attention the checkout screen online when you pay - they give you an option for adding ANOTHER tip - you could be easily tricked into thinking you did not leave a tip, but this extra button is on top of the tip they automatically added to the bill. Pay close attention - my button was AUTOMATICALLY selected to add another 25%! This felt so sneaky. My recommendation is to avoid and find other options for eating in the area.

The meat was tender and flavorful with a green and a red hot sauce served on the side that added just the right amount of heat and a nice added boost of flavor. They were served with onion and cilantro true to the street taco experiences I grew up with in Tucson. The rice was fresh - none of those surprise "crispy" grains that signal rice that has either been sitting out or reheated. The refried beans were fantastic and also reminded me of home. Even the horchata was amazing. Although the food was a standout what struck me most was the cleanliness of the restaurant. Clean tables, floors, and bathrooms all signal that this restaurant cares about details. Even the hot sauce bottles (which I am used to seeing cakes with old drips and drops) were absolutely spotless. I truly believe that things like this matter and suggest that the kitchen is also in good shape. Tye menu was a bit large and could be somewhat overwhelming so much so that I didn't bother to read everything. Besides - I already knew what I wanted. Service was friendly, prompt, and accurate.
