Well, first of all the manager was very very unprofessional and rude for starters. Especially with myself being in the beauty industry and licensed for 15 years now with years of salon experience so they were very uneducated on the industry they work in. When I went in to get microdermabrasion done, they continued to tuck me out of the service I knew I needed and have had before in the past! On top of that the girl that was trying to educate me on microdermabrasion was only 16 years old and had NO cosmetology or esthetician license, so I was appalled after finding that out. Last I checked the professional way is that the customers/clients are to be their number one priority to make happy so that they continue to return to the spa happily, not insulting them over the phone with all the receipts and information in front of me and lie. Not to mention they had charged me $200 for literally a basic facial that included just steaming and cleansing the face, which I do myself on a daily basis. Along with the "facial" they decided to give me I was supposed to be getting an hour long relaxation massage along with it and I NEVER received either for the $200 they charged me and would NOT make it right by offering me absolutely anything, just the rude manager stating I was wrong, everyone has their own "opinions" she stated when I literally had every bit of information about my services that day and the pricing to prove it was a mistake. I still have $140 in gift cards for their establishment and yet no offering my money back or anything, just told not to return. Needless to say, myself or anyone else I know will never be going to this establishment after my experience. read more

Extremely unpleased with the service that I received from this establishment. Went in for a Brazilian wax and left with a lot of hair still down there to the point that I had to go home and shave. The woman's reasoning for not getting all the hair is that it was " too long " which is never an excuse. And the fact that it took only 10 to 15 minutes to be done is something that I am not pleased about either she took extremely large sections at a time making it extremely painful . Luckily I didn't really pay for it out of my own pocket with the fact that I had a spa finder gift card (which if you use a spa finder gift card they put the entire total that you have on the gift card towards the service or you can't use it at all so if you want your remainder back you don't get it back) . If I didn't have the gift card that I had and had to pay for out-of-pocket I probably would've refused to pay with how terrible my service was I should've never had to leave and go home and finish the job myself that's the whole point of going in there and getting the service. read more

This is the only place that I have ever been to that the owner came out, looked me dead in the eye, and told me that he as zero interest in making a transaction easier for the customer. His staff looked embarrassed and kept apologizing for his rude behavior. The services and the front desk were good! Just keep the owner away or send him to charm school please. read more

Unfortunately we will never recommend Amadeus Spa to anyone again. We received a $250 gift card from a family member that frequents this establishment for Christmas in 2018 (received the actual gift in 2019... being that it was so close to the end of the year) My husband and I went and used services that left us a remaining balance of $95.85 on our gift certificate. We were given back only a receipt that had our remaining balance on it.... Nothing else. We looked for an expiration date- but nothing was on what we were given back. Great, we can space our massages out! (Or so we thought) Covid hit hard, and with both of us working in the health care field, constantly surrounded by Covid positive patients- getting a massage was the last thing on our minds. Now that things have calmed down, and we feel more comfortable being around people, (we were fearful to pass along Covid- and wanted to respect people enough to not jeopardize the health of others' for our own selfish wants) we wanted to utilize our remaining balance. My husband went in to set up an appointment, and the staff was aggressive and condescending. They informed him that our gift certificate expired and when questioned about where it said it had expired- used the excuse that it was on the actual gift certificate that we were presented that they KEPT and never returned. She could not answer any questions and said the manager could call to clarify. The manager called- gave the same run around and only offered the excuse that they are working on "updating their systems" since they cannot give back gift certificates because "people" alter them. (Which still didn't help, or answer our concerns) They continued to be very brash- so my husband said thank you, and we will just have to tell our family members and friends what happened and offer other recommendations for a different spa with better services. Apparently this made her extremely mad, because the next phone call came from the owner. She wanted to "extend an olive branch" and offered 20% off a service if we would "please come back and get theses girls to work!" This was never about the money- it was about how badly we were being treated as a consumer. My husband declined the coupon, and ended the phone call. Sadly, we will not be returning as there are other places that treat consumers better. read more

My daughter and I arrived at 1 for a 1 pm appointment-I would've liked to have been there earlier, but we were on time none the less. I received a relaxation massage for 43 minutes. My daughters facial lasted 40 minutes. When I asked the front desk if it was standard for our 1 hour massage and facial to be 25% less time than we paid for, I was told our appointment was one hour, time for bathroom and changing comes out of that one hour. I have had many massages and have always received the full hour. In addition it was quite loud the first ten minutes with people talking right outside our room. My daughter loved Joann for her facial--she gave her great tips for her type of skin. My massage was mediocre--lot of time spent on areas not sore, she only had about 5 minutes left to work on my back--if she would have done the additional 17 minutes, she would have probably been above average over my previous massages. read more

This SPA consistently deleted their poor reviews on facebook, I have checked frequently and have noticed this from other people's reviews, also my own review was deleted. The help at the desk are unfriendly and unwelcoming. I booked an appt with Kathy for a Brazilian, she was nice enough, but she did not wear gloves. That sends a clear message that they do not take infection control seriously. This is a major violation. You are forewarned! read more

My husband and I love our spa days every few months, so we have been to many area spas. We have been here a couple times in the last year for massages, facials, wax, and pedicures, and have loved every one. This place is very clean and professional, service is great. Up until a few weeks ago I was happy with the spa services received. On my last visit I expected the same girl who I've seen the last 6 months to do my spa services. When I arrived I was told a different person would be doing my facial. I was not told ahead of time my regular girl was not there. I do not like anyone doing my facial except my regular girl. When I scheduled my next appointment I was not told it would not be with my normal girl. I found out later through another customer that girl was no longer at the spa. I was very unhappy I was not told about the change. I also have had concerns with the owner. He is very creepy and inappropriate at times. I try to schedule my appointments on days he is not there. Since my normal girl is normal there I will no longer continue to be a customer. read more

It was nice. I had a Brazilian wax, me and my friend went together, it was the first time for both of us. Kathy did both, she did a good job at keeping us comfortable around her and carrying on conversation. We both were concerned with the fact she didn't wear gloves with either of us, and she used the same spatula the whole time. That seems like a serious issue to me. I'm not sure I will return only because of that, it seems like they don't take sanitation very seriously.
