They quoted me six days out but then suddenly called back 30 minutes later saying they could see it "right now." An hour later, they called and told me the transmission had "catastrophic internal failure" and could not be fixed. No codes, no other details. They insisted on this multiple times, clearly using fear to sell me a repair I didn't need. The only option they gave me was a new transmission for $3,500 - $4,000. When I was hesitant (on a 7-month-old transmission), the conversation was basically over. I paid the $90 diagnostic fee and declined the "repair." The staff's attitude immediately turned hostile. They aggressively told me to get my car out of their packed parking lot, fully aware it was in an unsafe condition to drive. I had to back it onto the street, where I ended up fixing it myself. I dropped the pan, replaced the leaking gasket, and refilled the fluid. The "catastrophic failure" turned out to be just low fluid pressure from the leak. After running it on jack stands to get the fluid circulating, the car engaged Drive and now shifts perfectly. Total cost for my repair: $60 and a weekend of my time. This shop is either grossly incompetent, completely apathetic, or actively predatory. Based on my experience, it's a combination of all three. They took my $90 for a "diagnostic" just to lie to my face. Do not trust them.

I had to leave my car there for several days, but the guys arranged for Enterprise to pick me up right at the shop. My car was less than a year old, and I was worried that it would never be the same. When I picked up my car, it looked brand new again. I can't say enough about the quality of the work that they did. The car looks great, and the wheel scratches and dings are no longer there. The wheel guy worked some magic! I will definitely return here next time some prick damages one of my vehicles.

I found nothing but good reviews for Fred's, so we decided to give him a try..... and I'm glad we did!! The first thing that I liked was that you deal with FRED; not one guy for the estimate, a different guy when you drop it off, and yet another one when you pick up your car. Fred went over every detail when looking at the damage. He explained exactly what needed to be done, what everything, down to the paint, will cost him and what he would charge us. Believe me, what he charges in labor is practically nothing. Our car was done in a day and a half and looked like new!! When we picked it up he noticed a little chip on the passenger side mirror, that had nothing to do with why we brought it in.... he fixed it then and there, free of charge!!! He even gave us a coupon for a car wash on the way out. So glad that we found Fred's, we wouldn't use anyone else!! Suzanne and Tony M

Thankfully I haven't had a lot of experience with auto body shops but the last one I did have…read moreoccasion to use was absolutely awful. They did some paint work on the front bumper of a brand new Mercedes-Benz and rather than repaint the whole front bumper they repainted the middle portion of the bumper and tried to feather in their paint work with the factory paint, needless to say it was terrible, not bad but awful! Ryan's Auto Body was recommended by one of the men who work at my detail shop. I was told they do great work and at a fair price, and so I took it to Ryan's with some trepidation. Ryan's work wasn't just good, it was astounding! I don't know which particular person actually did the work but the work was done to absolute perfection, after Ryan's finished the body work the car looked better than it did the day I bought it and that's the truth. Their work was miles ahead of the auto body shop the MB dealer uses and recommends. I would never take my car to any other auto body shop, no other comes close to the quality of the product Ryan's puts out. If you have a car that needs body work and you'd like it to look like the day it came out of the factory, look no further, Ryan's will not disappoint. And last but not least, they were about a thousand dollars less then the nearest other quote I got for work that I know would have been just marginal. Try them, you won't be sorry. Mr. B

Despite keeping my vehicle for two full months, they completely ignored the loud noise coming from the front end that I explicitly pointed out from day one. When I brought up that the core issue was left unaddressed, the management became extremely rude, dismissive, and unprofessional instead of taking accountability. To make matters worse, the front panel they replaced is already showing clear coat peeling, blistering, and paint overspray. Between the two-month wait, unaddressed damage, awful treatment, and sub-par paint quality, I strongly advise taking your business elsewhere.
