She was able to give us samples of other dresses similar so that she could try it on and see what it looked like. I also got a mother of the bride dress there and very happy with it. I read some reviews that said the quality wasn't there but I have gone to other dress shops where the prices were higher And the seams let go and the beads fell off. They may not have the biggest selection but they can order it and the quality is there

My daughter-in-law , Maggie, purchased her wedding dress ( a beautiful gown at a very good price) a few years ago but after posting a 3 star review for the body-shaming (she is a size 6 ) and comments made to her in the dressing room out of ear shot from me or her bridesmaids, Mary and Tatum decided to call ME to get "control" of her and have the review removed. They phoned a few times, crying, yelling and saying I was destroying their business. Tatum then posted on FB to say that "it was on like Donkey Kong"... Again, I did NOT write the review. My daughter-in-law, justifiably, then changed her review to a 1 star after the very disappointing and upsetting treatment I received personally from them. Fast forward to August of 2019. We try to support local business and the wedding was being held at a local business, the pictures being done at 2 local businesses, the photographer, etc. also all local entrepreneurs. My daughter was getting married on October 5th and I had FORGIVEN them for their conduct and treatment and decided we should message them to request information about bridesmaids gowns. The chat message on FB was cordial enough and I said we would be in that afternoon to look. The message I then received back was this: "To be perfectly honest with you Tina after the last episode I'd prefer you not to come to my store. It was a huge upset to me and I can't feel that way again." I was BANNED from the store as was my daughter for something I did NOT do and for their unbelievable and poor treatment of ME. They lost sales for Mother of the Bride, Grandmother, Mother of the Groom and Maid of Honour and 3 bridesmaids! I visited some Halifax Shops in October/November to get an idea of what I liked and price range as was dissatisfied with the pushy attendants. A couple of friend recommended heading up to Windsor to visit Tatums. I called ahead and they said to visit around six months before the wedding so they would have time to order in the dress and do alterations. I made an appointment and we made the drive in January. We were greeted at the door with huge smiles by our personal attendant Karrie and the owner Tatum and were asked if we were ready to get to work. We headed upstairs and Karrie asked what I was looking for. She sent us to look at the discount rack (because you never know according to her) and started to pull dresses for me. After trying on 2 dresses I knew that I had found a winner. I still tried on 6 more dresses to be sure and Karrie was very patient and encouraging me to try everything just to be sure. I did find out from the owners that the majority of wedding dress are under $2000 which is cheaper then in the city. It was a day of fun and happiness. Since picking my dress I have been back three times, once to help find dresses for my mother and mother in laws, once for alterations and once to pick it up. Everytime after that first time they greeted us by name and like we were old friends. There are pictures of past brides who had bought dresses from them and I was encouraged to send along a picture after the wedding. This is the place to go for personalized service and great prices. My sister and best friend are planning on visiting here for their dresses when its time. It is well worth the drive and they have an amazing selection of wedding, mothers and bridemaids dresses.

I had a complete opposite experience at Chester and Felicity. Sarah made me feel so special and my family raved about her for hours afterward. She helped me pick out dresses that would fit my body type and I ended up selecting one of her suggestions! It's perfect. She knew how to fit the dress on me so I could see if I actually liked it or not. I am so grateful for her.

(saved 170; the dress is STUNNING, and the lace matches mine) I had Krystyna; she was an absolute gem! She was helpful, kind, and gave me lots of time to make my decision. She never once looked down on me for my budget and I really felt like they cared about me and my wedding! She was beautifully kind and patient with my two children; and made my daughter feel like a princess. We called ahead to see if we could arrive early , were told it was very busy but to come along and they may be able to fit us in early . She snapped my head off stating we were early and they were busy and we would have to wait . We were also told we weren't allowed to touch the bridesmaid dresses nor remove them from the racks while we waiting. We stood in the store for 1 hour waiting for a room while walk ins received a change Room before us . During that time three other employees were also very abrasive and ignorant . But I asked for a small slit in the left and she failed to give me that. I have a tattoo and will be wearing custom sneakers so I really wants both of those to show. She did attempt a slit but it didn't end up working. The stitching is horribly done, and there is so much bulging fabric that she didn't off that peaks out of the slip and just looks off. Then I asked her to take off more then normal from my waist since I wanted a very open back. She instead made the open back smaller and you can barley see the beautiful corset that my dress has. Overall I don't think it was worth what we paid since she didn't execute what I wanted. I still do love my dress but I'm still disappointed that I am unable to have the perfect dress. But I will say if your looking for some simple alterations she I'd recommend her. But if you want crazy big changes or add-ons done I'd look somewhere else.

She was very good with me and my son, and was very patient giving us the time we needed to decide what he would like. There was no hovering. She returned to let us know that she was there if there is anything she could help us with, but allowed time for me and my son to discuss what he liked. The service was wonderful, Nikki was friendly and respectful, and my son is very happy with his prom suit purchase, with the shoes. It is an awesome Deal. At one point we noticed a spot or something on the suit jacket and the shoes had bend marks in them, to which Nikki immediately brough out a new suit Jacket and a new pair of shoes. My son was very impressed. It was a great Day and we can't say enough about our experience at Karma. We have passed their name around. Thank You Nikki for your very friendly service, and Thank You Karma, for the handsome prom suit for my son.

I've never tried on dresses and was hoping to have a good experience we we're greeted by a young lady who was busy but she took the photos and numbers of dresses I had saved on my phone and told me to browse while we wait the half hour til my apt time. 15 mins passed still no one came to get us, the dresses had stains on some of the trains or dirty the girls were very busy but I'd expect to be a little more taken care of going to spend a large amount of money. Someone finally took us and she was really nice but they didn't have any of the dresses pulled for me, no one clipped the bigger dresses or straps up for me they didn't know their stock or had any idea of what would look good on me. I tried a few on one I put on had 3 buttons missing off the back and it wasn't on the same rack, everything about that day what just choas and very overhelming & I must say we didnt feel welcomed at all. I left with no dress. I'm sure for someone going for prom or formal would have great luck but as a bride i was disappointed to say the least.

I arrived to pick them up at 11:35am while on my way to work, and I ended up having to wait 5 minutes while he finished one of my pants in front of me. It wasn't a big deal, but if I I had come at 11am when he said they would be done then I would have waited 40 minutes or I would have had to come back to get my pants on another day. I would recommend this tailor, but I would suggest giving them more time to finish your items, even if they sound confident that they will have it done in a couple of days.
