Most of the dresses there were in the $200-400 range and the quality just wasn't there. There was only really one small room with dresses. The change rooms felt larger than the dress room. Most of the dresses had very thin fabrics and it was obvious they were quickly and cheaply made factory style. Which is fine for some brides, but it wasn't what I was looking for. Other bridal shops had much better quality dresses that were in the $800 range then reduced to around $300.

I am picky, and found something in each dress I didn't love in all my other appointments, and wanted the dress to fall in a way that was flattering and un-frumpy. When I got to Tatum's, I came with the same picky attitude - but they were patient, and took the time to listen. They made me feel beautiful, and did everything they could to ensure I was happy with my choice. The staff were funny, and kept the atmosphere light. The customer service I received was above and beyond! The ladies were honest, candid, and I felt like I was the only person in the salon with them. They knew bridal, and they listened to what I wanted. They had a huge selection of gowns there. The prices were very reasonable, and the atmosphere was very comfortable. I bought my wedding dress there, and they called me with excitement to tell me it had come in (in the promised 6 month period). If you're looking for a wonderful experience with excellent customer service, I would highly recommend taking the trip to Tatum's! Note: I have not yet had my dress altered there, so stay tuned!

They phoned a few times, crying, yelling and saying I was destroying their business. Tatum then posted on FB to say that "it was on like Donkey Kong"... Again, I did NOT write the review. My daughter-in-law, justifiably, then changed her review to a 1 star after the very disappointing and upsetting treatment I received personally from them. Fast forward to August of 2019. We try to support local business and the wedding was being held at a local business, the pictures being done at 2 local businesses, the photographer, etc. also all local entrepreneurs. My daughter was getting married on October 5th and I had FORGIVEN them for their conduct and treatment and decided we should message them to request information about bridesmaids gowns. The chat message on FB was cordial enough and I said we would be in that afternoon to look. The message I then received back was this: "To be perfectly honest with you Tina after the last episode I'd prefer you not to come to my store. It was a huge upset to me and I can't feel that way again." I was BANNED from the store as was my daughter for something I did NOT do and for their unbelievable and poor treatment of ME. They lost sales for Mother of the Bride, Grandmother, Mother of the Groom and Maid of Honour and 3 bridesmaids! I had a complete opposite experience at Chester and Felicity. Sarah made me feel so special and my family raved about her for hours afterward. She helped me pick out dresses that would fit my body type and I ended up selecting one of her suggestions! It's perfect. She knew how to fit the dress on me so I could see if I actually liked it or not. I am so grateful for her.

On top of that I went back two days ago with my friend who was going for her first fitting and there was a issue concerning the alterations/pricing (which store manager Laura handled very well and me and my friend were satisfied with the outcome) and during the issue Jen was working and she remembered me and was there giving support to my friend and just going above what would be expected from her. I would definitely recommend Jen and I'm hoping she's working when I go to get my alterations done in the fall.

My MOH was by my side and knew the style i was looking for prior to arriving. During my appointment my consult asked my style etc. but she was not pulling any dresses that were my preferred style or anything i liked, halfway through i started feeling hopeless so my MOH went through and pulled a few dresses that would suit me and she was then told to sit down because no one other than a consultant was allowed to pull the dresses. Once my MOH started pointing out the potentials things looked up and i eventually found my dress! That being said it was in a size too big and they would not allow me to try the smaller size on even though it was in store, it was i either take the larger size dress or i can wait the week before my wedding to have the size smaller dress shipped to my address, in frustration I ended up buying the dress off the floor and getting it tailored to my size by a seamstress. The consultant also showed signs of pure frustration with me as i would only try on some dresses she picked because i knew they just were not my style. All of my bridesmaids with the exception of one had to pre order a dress. All of the dresses were paid upfront in full and all they had to do was pick up when David's bridal called that it was in. That phone call did not come in and on July 4th she was calling every day for a week and no one could tell her where her dress was. One phone call said that the dress was still not even made yet but could have shipped to her by July 31st, with them well known that my wedding is July 25th. They eventually had to give her a refund and she bought a dress elsewhere due to David's Bridal losing and have no idea where this said dress was that was PAID FOR. Highly recommend going else where if you want to avoid chaos.

But I asked for a small slit in the left and she failed to give me that. I have a tattoo and will be wearing custom sneakers so I really wants both of those to show. She did attempt a slit but it didn't end up working. The stitching is horribly done, and there is so much bulging fabric that she didn't off that peaks out of the slip and just looks off. Then I asked her to take off more then normal from my waist since I wanted a very open back. She instead made the open back smaller and you can barley see the beautiful corset that my dress has. Overall I don't think it was worth what we paid since she didn't execute what I wanted. I still do love my dress but I'm still disappointed that I am unable to have the perfect dress. But I will say if your looking for some simple alterations she I'd recommend her. But if you want crazy big changes or add-ons done I'd look somewhere else.

She was very good with me and my son, and was very patient giving us the time we needed to decide what he would like. There was no hovering. She returned to let us know that she was there if there is anything she could help us with, but allowed time for me and my son to discuss what he liked. The service was wonderful, Nikki was friendly and respectful, and my son is very happy with his prom suit purchase, with the shoes. It is an awesome Deal. At one point we noticed a spot or something on the suit jacket and the shoes had bend marks in them, to which Nikki immediately brough out a new suit Jacket and a new pair of shoes. My son was very impressed. It was a great Day and we can't say enough about our experience at Karma. We have passed their name around. Thank You Nikki for your very friendly service, and Thank You Karma, for the handsome prom suit for my son.

The dresses she chose were pretty (meaning something I may actually even wear again!) and my colour! They said 3-4 months for them to come in and even made it easy to buy additional fabric for sleeves (a must for my bust). We ordered today and the girl made it pretty easy. We spent four hours in the store watching her try dresses while scarfing down chocolate-covered strawberries (made in-house). We were all in agreeable when we left that it didn't seem like that long. One of the two girls kept cleaning up after us, which was really nice. Our bride even ended up saying yes to her dress, at which time it was time for champagne! They made the process of paying really easy, splitting it up and letting her pay a portion at a time, as she was also paying for a couple bridesmaids dresses. Even let a bridesmaid put a deposit down. If ever someone was looking for a formal dress store, even without having received the dress, I'd already recommend Karma.

The only reason I'm only giving 4 stars out of 5 is that I was told my pants would be finished two days later by 11am (I said I could pick them up in two days before noon, or I could get them the following week as there was no rush). I arrived to pick them up at 11:35am while on my way to work, and I ended up having to wait 5 minutes while he finished one of my pants in front of me. It wasn't a big deal, but if I I had come at 11am when he said they would be done then I would have waited 40 minutes or I would have had to come back to get my pants on another day. I would recommend this tailor, but I would suggest giving them more time to finish your items, even if they sound confident that they will have it done in a couple of days.
