They loved it and talked all the way home about the horses and activities especially were impressed with riding the horse to cool off in the pond. These boys were excited to do their first ride and we were so grateful to the staff who spent much effort to insure they knew how to handle these horses. Safety was the watch word. Our escort was just great. She assisted in every way to show the mount/use of reins/dismount. Thank you so much! The ranch and ride was so much fun, being outdoors with the beautiful horses. It was my first time riding- felt nervous but excited- and the team made me feel at ease. I received a mini walkthrough on how to guide the horse to go forward, stop, and turn. My guide was Matt who made my first visit (but not last!) great - told great stories, and shared about various animal/plant activity along the trail. Great activity for a birthday and the hour flew by. Be sure to buy the treats at the end bc the horses sooooo love those, and tip your guide! Such a memorable experience! Thank you!!

She has shown my daughter how to take care of horses, and has been a great friend to me as well. During hurricane Beryl, she handled all the damage with care and expertise. Even with all the struggles that came with the hurricane, I couldn't trust anybody else more with the care of my horses. The other boarders have also told us how much they love Chrisi and how well she has taken care of the horses. Her lessons have taught my daughter so much, and she loves them. She always comes home with the largest smile on her face, talking about how much she loved it, and how it is the favorite part of her week. There is such a community at the barn, and Chrisi has really grown that. It is a place that is so great to be, and you'll not just get excellent care of your horses, or amazing lessons, but friends and a community to be apart of. My daughter is beyond happy and gets better everyday. Kimberly is patient, incredibly good at explaining things. She gives examples and trains with a positive, fun, atmosphere while giving very expert instruction. They have really well trained, safe horses. We have bought a horse from them, bred a horse, and have a horse staying there to get in show ready shape while brushing up on his training! The facility is spotless and shines. We were at Creekside for a short amount of time…read more My daughter started taking lessons with one of the trainers there and enrolled in the riding school. For first impressions Javier and Begonia (owners) were so welcoming. Made you feel like part of the family. They do have a decent facility. Could it use some upgrades, yes. But for the price it is ok. I will try not to turn this into a book. We enjoyed the place so much that we purchased an amazing horse through the trainer (not creekside) but we chose to board our horse there. We paid for three months in advance of boarding and for the first month things were ok. Then it got very bad very quickly. Our horse was not being fed on a regular basis. The verbal agreements that were made for paying lessons up front for an entire month were all of the sudden no longer ok. Overall if you do any business with this boarding and lesson facility make sure you get any arrangements in writing. This was our mistake. We tried to resolve our issues but it was not very important to Creekside to keep our business. The owner has many horses of his own that are in stalls and those horses are most definitely cared well for. The owner cares more about his own personal dressage riding than any of his boarders or riding school students. They have a high turnover for the help that is hired and staff/workers are not properly trained to deal with horses. They don't have nor do they verify proper vet records on these horses. They don't have properly managed deworming. They are not organized. We finally had to leave because of the lack of care for our horse, we had to leave without notice due to the worry for the care of our horse. When I informed the owners why we were leaving they did respond professionally and did say they would issue a refund for the last month we had paid in advance for. We left towards the end of October and this is December and no check received. I waited this long to write my review. Just a final warning if you arrange anything with this place get it in writing, and closely monitor your horse that it is being properly cared for on a daily basis.
