After his hip surgery he was scheduled with a Physical Therapist by the name of Jules . From day one when I had spoken to her to get the physical therapy set up for my Dad, I immediately liked her. She has a calm and caring disposition and is the perfect example for an "Awesome Physical Therapist!" She is professional, knowledgeable, kind, caring, and efficient. She truly made a huge difference in helping my Dad recover from his hip surgery. Here are my Dad's exact words for Jules: I am writing to express my deepest appreciation and gratitude for Jules, my physical therapist from Mission Home Health . My name is Michael Morneau, and I was a patient recovering from a total hip replacement. Jules visited me four or five times in total. and she was the best! She was personable, knowledgeable, and helped me immensely. I am confident I would not have made the progress I did without her. I truly appreciate her care and want to make sure her supervisory staff knows what a wonderful asset you have in her. It was truly my pleasure to have had her help me. These are the kinds of people in the world who truly make a difference! My family had peace of mind because they knew my Dad was in great hands with Jules! Mission Home Health, you have a total Gem in Jules! Thank you so much, Jules. Sincerely, Carla Olson and Michael Morneau

I can not thank the team who helped me regain some of my mobility, confidence, strength, and happiness enough! Anna, Chaeli (Shay*lee), Christian, & Colleen are the most amazing Physical Therapist(PT)/Occupational Therapist(OT) I have ever had the pleasure of working with! Extremely communicative, fun, optimistic, and always willing to work around you! Mind you, my schedule is extremely flexible, so when there're slight changes to my appt dates/time, it doesn't affect me too much*. You have to understand that they're traveling from patient to patient with little to no break in between, say for their drive. Knowing that, plus seeing how far some have to drive in between clients, gave me a whole new understanding of these caregivers. That being said, if your schedule is already tight, make sure your PT/OT understands that so they can make sure that the time/date(s)byou both specify will be abided by. Made recommendations to make my home safer(OT), and since putting those in place has offered me more confident and safe! I wholeheartedly recommend Mission Home Health to get you back on track with your recovery needs for in home. I am happy to say that they've assisted me so much that I am able to now transfer to Outpatient PT! Send your team my best wishes!

My mother lives in an assisted living home, and there was some confusion over the paperwork for her brand-new wheelchair. I had spent quite a while on the phone with the head nurse, who assured me they had no paperwork and no proof that the new wheelchair we had purchased for my mother was even on the premises. Instead, I was told they believed she was using an older wheelchair that had been provided by hospice and that it had to be returned to hospice immediately. My heart just sank. I felt frustrated because I honestly felt like what I was saying wasn't being heard. I was being told they had paperwork that showed something completely different, and I started to feel defeated. Not only was I being told I might have to pay for the six months they believed my mother had been using the hospice wheelchair, but I was also being told I would need to purchase a new wheelchair for her. That was a huge financial double whammy, and I was honestly beside myself. When Kayla heard how upset I was, she didn't hesitate. She immediately jumped into action. She was calm, reassuring, and never made me feel like I was on my own. One phone call later, and in less than 20 minutes, the entire situation was resolved. The biggest thing I walked away with wasn't just that the problem got fixed. It was how Kayla made me feel. She made me feel taken care of. She made me feel protected. When you're trying to take care of an elderly parent, that kind of compassion means everything. Thank you, Kayla, for turning one of the most stressful days I've had in a long time into one with a happy ending. Comfort and Thrive is very fortunate to have you. And one last thing...please give this lady a raise. She absolutely deserves it.

Communication was beyond excellent. Flexibility with scheduling due to his health conditions was amazing. Cooperation with Hospice care was direct and on point. And the care was delivered with a sincere level of empathy and compassion that gave comfort to all three of us. All of the caregivers were rock-stars. My father really enjoyed the company of and cooking by them all. But Maya, the owner, was the uber-rock-star. When we had questions or needed advice she delivered in a very timely manner and in a way we all could understand. She constantly took into account all three of our needs and desires. Essentially taking care of the whole family. Holistic senior care would be a great description of what was provided by Maya and her team. I'm on active duty in the U.S. Navy and have been trying to assist my father from afar for several years. He was living in an Independent Living facility there but his health and overall condition were declining. We decided to move him out to be near me in San Diego. I was connected with Shelby, who was extremely supportive and savvy at dealing with all of the various entities in both FL and CA. She quickly put everything in motion to facilitate his move out here, but unfortunately, my father's condition rapidly worsened and he passed away before we could make the move. I was fortunately able to make it out there to be with him when he passed.
