He was able to show up the next day cuz he actually was close to my neighborhood . He broke down my 78 in beige sofa, in a stairwell, in about 20 minutes . He showed up on time, he got right to work! The sofa was in my apartment in a matter of 35 minutes . A sofa that took two movers and my dad and his worker over the span of a weekend lol. Favio did it in 35 minutes! I had originally called the couch doctor and received a quote for anywhere between $375 and $750. My communication with the owner didn't feel good. I asked questions via text that he couldn't answer, so I'd have to call him to get the answers. And I didn't want someone to show up to my place who will now just randomly charge me $800 because they couldn't know the price until they saw the sofa and actually broke it down which would leave me in a place of desperation. I also wanted some custom shelves to compliment one of the radiator covers in the living room. I am so glad I found Pat from LI Custom Radiator covers. He came to measure for a small fee which was deducted from the purchase and took his time listening to my requests and desires as well as providing awesome suggestions. At this point he gave me a fully itemized quote. He even made a creative workaround to the order so that I could stay within budget. I gave him a deposit to start the work and he gave me an associated estimate. He even went back and forth with me on email and phone tailoring any adjustments I wanted to make. His estimate was accurate and a few weeks later he came to deliver and install 4 radiator covers and 2 custom shelf units. I must say Pat's work is immaculate. He works extremely hard and puts in the time to make sure everything is perfect from making sure the cover is level to make sure it is flush with the wall to make sure nothing is chipped or dented. It wasn't until he came to install when I fully appreciated the amount of work and time he spends trimming, sanding and grinding the covers until they fit perfectly. If you're detail oriented and care about every 1/16" and everything looking flush with walls etc, Pat is the guy for the job. Some of the top covers on the radiators were slightly dented/scratched and he happily took it back with him to have them touched up and repainted.
