In the summer, Hot work.. So, the job consisted of removal of old asphalt, grading, applying binder cost, compacting and then finish with class 1 topcoat and cleanup. The estimator was punctual to his appointment. The price submitted was correct and reasonable for the job. The appointment was made for the work 3 weeks out. The office confirmed the appointment a few days ahead of arrival. The crew with Mike (owner), at the helm arrived at exactly at the time and date established. The crew of 6 (7 with Mike), worked flawlessly together like a well tuned orchestra doing a symphony. In a few short hours the job was completed, the work completely cleaned up! No hesitation here: highly recommend! 5 stars ! Ken Postscript: LOOK.. Asphalt paving is a real tough occupation. Good help is difficult to find and keep. Customers, (especially ones that are not familiar with the "paving trade", are sometimes not treated honestly and overpay for substandard work. Watered religiously with sprinklers on timers watering twice a day. "Lawn" would be mowed and workers would move the sprinklers and not replace. The only communication the company will have with the customer is regarding payment. Invoices are not sent until a month past services so you can't review what is being done on a month by month basis. The lawn is now all ant hills and weeds. The owner blamed it on us that it was not watered enough. Yet I paid for fertilizing if weeds and dead grass. No communication from work done on the lawn back to the owner because anyone could have seen this was not handled properly.

At a cost to us of $1900.00 You talk a good show but do not do what you say you are going to do. When you and I talked you told me that they were going to overlap the aeration and put down starter fertilizer a double application of fast acting lime and I do not remember the amount of grass seed. You talked very nice but I know you did not overlap the aeration. And now I am not sure about the lime, the fertilization or the amount of grass seed. On the day of the aeration 9/3/24 your brother and his crew started the aeration process and they did not overlap like you said they were to do. I told your brother about the overlapping and he said they were going to go back over it. They did not go back over it. I called you on the phone to tell you they were not overlapping. You told me that they were going to go back over It., THEY DID NOT GO OVER IT. Your equipment used to spread the seed just dropped it in a line (in some place where you can see new grass) and did not broadcast the seed. We have many spots that there is no new grass at all (see photos attached). What a disappointment to spend $1900.00 and get very little to NO results I was told to water in the seed twice a day which we did for 4 weeks and there was a slight difference in the lawn, I think because of the watering twice a day of the old lawn picked up. Yes, we have to say there are a few places where there is new grass growing but not all over, not for the amount of seed you were supposed to put down. Today 4-12-2025 our lawn looks as bad as it did prior to you reseeding. I have called you the very beginning of the year to set up a fertilization program you never got back to me. One time I did talk to you, but you were in a store and said you would call me back, still waiting. This time, the woman in the office, who I presume was one of the owners, flat-out refused to sell me anything less than a half-yard of loam, which was way more than I wanted or needed. She blamed it on their insurance company regulations. Well, whatever, that's fine, but then she suggested that I buy a bag of loam from a big box store or nursery. I replied that I had never seen any bagged loam ... bagged topsoil or garden soil, yes, but bagged loam - well, that's a big negative. She then insulted my intelligence by saying that some people call loam or topsoil the same thing. Okay, I'm in the plumbing and heating business, and some people call a boiler a furnace, and it's NOT the same thing....
