If I could give zero stars, I would! I had an extremely…read moredisappointing and stressful experience with Amore Beach Weddings and Jamie Bates. I paid a $999 deposit in good faith after being told a wedding coordinator would be part of my package and would reach out once I booked. Shortly after paying, I learned there was no designated wedding coordinator and that the role was being filled informally by a family member. (Imagine being an out-of-town bride and learning this information after) This critical information was not disclosed prior to payment and would have absolutely affected my decision to book. When I attempted to cancel immediately after learning this, I was unable to reach Jamie for a few days. Once we finally spoke (less than 30 days after payment and before any services were performed), I was told I would only receive a refund if someone else booked my date -- which could take months. This is unreasonable and unfair, especially since my cancellation was due to undisclosed information. Since then, I have experienced deflection, delays, and refusal to take accountability. This entire situation has caused unnecessary stress during what should be a joyful time. Brides: please be extremely cautious. Ask very specific questions and get everything in writing before paying anything. He presents himself as a Methodist pastor, which gave me a sense of trust and reassurance. Sadly, the way this situation was handled did not align with that expectation.

My husband and I wanted our ceremony to reflect our personalities with a mixture of humor, sarcasm, and sentimental tidbits. Doug delivered all we could have hoped for and more! A few weeks before the ceremony, Doug asked us and some of our closest friends to complete a questionnaire about our relationship. He took the information from the questionnaires to create a beautiful, unique, and personal ceremony. Throughout the 30 minute ceremony, Doug managed to make us all laugh, cry, and laugh some more...it was truly perfect! I would strongly recommend Doug to any couple looking for a ceremony to remember!

I used Yours Truly Weddings because I wanted a beach wedding. I got the "Paradise" package for…read more$425. That included a minister (officiant), marriage license filing, sand blending ceremony, and decorations (2 palm trees, 2 tiki torches, and a conch shell isle). Since the beach is beautiful by itself, I didn't think I needed many decorations. I was afraid that since I went with one of the cheaper packages it would look cheap, but it actually looked amazing. The minister was very professional. He spoke well, loud, and clear. He was very friendly when we talked to him before the ceremony. Yours Truly helped make my wedding day perfect! I thought everything was great, but our photographer did mention that they should have set up the decorations in a different location. I guess he covers a lot of beach weddings and noticed that the other vendors set up to the left of the Beasley Park pavillion instead of the right.

Forever I Do Weddings was absolutely fantastic. Sydney was my main coordinator throughout the…read moreentire planning process and handled our rehearsal, and then both Sydney and Chloe were there on the wedding day -- they were incredible. From the start, communication was seamless. Sydney was always responsive and helpful on every email and call. I also loved that they offered so many services in one place, including rehearsal coordination, day-of coordination, cake, MC services for cocktail hour, and DJ for the reception. On the wedding day, Sydney and Chloe truly went above and beyond. They made sure both my husband and I were completely taken care of -- even personally bringing us food and making sure we actually had time to eat, while keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. I even had multiple guests comment on how amazing they both were. They genuinely made sure our day was perfect, and we couldn't have been happier.

I wanted a low stress, beautiful wedding experience and that was exactly what Sunset Beach Weddings provided. Ken performed a beautiful ceremony according to our preferences and his wife Heather was a great photographer who made it a calm experience. I never felt rushed or pressured and I felt like the celebration began during the ceremony not the reception. My guests all agreed that this was the best wedding ceremony they have ever attended because they could participate and felt involved. Ken and Heather were organized, prompt with responses, and very detailed with information that was needed. I planned this wedding from Ohio and was nervous about planning from afar but it turned out so much better than I could have expected. My husband and I cannot say enough about them as a unit and we highly recommend this dynamic duo!
