My heartfelt thank you for capturing the emotion and connection behind every picture you took, Aundre :) Thank you for making us feel sooo comfortable at such a pivotal point in my life . Wow, where do I start? When walking into his studio, he has his portfolio displayed on his walls…read more They are incredible photos that are so clear and precise. I went to James for help with getting a 54 year old photo, that has seen better days and survived two floods, restored an enhanced and bring new life to it. He looked at the photo and explained that due to its extensive damage, it might not come out as I expect. He then went step by step through what he would do as far as brightening it up and putting it through filters. Most of the faces in the photo were only half legible, so I didn't give my hopes up. When I tell you this man performed a miracle, believe me when I say that I teared up when I saw it. My grandmother, who passed away when my mother was only 11 years old, was given new breath and looked absolutely stunning and I could finally see what my family always talked about her being a natural beauty. My grandfather, who passed a few years ago, looked so young and lively and my mom and uncle were legible and I could see their young faces smiling. I didn't expect a whole lot as far as the photo restoration and enhancement, but James exceeded all expectations, including his own. His fee was very reasonable and he gave me an extra print of the photo. If anyone needs professional photos done or photo enhancement, James Ferry is the man for you. I'm still in awe of how amazing this photo turned out and I can't thank him enough. Not only did his work prove to be impeccable, but he's also a naturally friendly guy and a pleasure to talk with. If you're on the fence about choosing him, I hope this review settles your reservations. He is worth every penny and worth the wait time for the photos (which still wasn't long. It took him 3 weeks to get my photo in pristine condition). He is a master at his craft.

We had KRR do our wedding photos, and they were amazing. John was absolutely the best. I am so glad…read morewe chose KRR because he was so helpful, accommodating, and took beautiful photos. During the original quote process, we spoke with Kevin and he talked us through their price options. We appreciated that they charge a la carte, because none of the other photographers' packages seemed to fit us just right. We were able to bring them in for the entire day (12 hours!) and spend our money having them there instead of on 5x7 prints afterwards that we don't really want. Overall, they were very prompt with communicating throughout the whole process and were great with both phone calls and emails. We did an engagement session with John a few months before the wedding during a weekend we were in town. We had never gotten a photo session before. John was so relaxing and totally understood our apprehension, and he took the time to show us how to look more natural. Overall, he spent 4 hours with us at 3 locations, which was way above and beyond. On the wedding day, he showed up on time, ready to work. He stuck to the timeline perfectly without being stressed about it. When we went over a bit getting ready, he let me know off to the side and we worked out a plan to get back on track. He brought along an assistant, which meant we had two photographers all day. My single complaint was that during the formal posed photos, we hit a snafu in that people who weren't supposed to be there showed up. I think it threw Kevin for a loop because he wasn't very able to flex. I tried to sneak in a few photos on his list to make the extras not feel unwelcome, but he didn't really get it and they felt a bit excluded. He got a little upset that I was changing things last minute; however, John was so accommodating and great about it that it ended up being fine and we got the photos we needed. My photos turned out GREAT. They even got them to me promptly- I had all of the photos within ten days of my wedding! I highly recommend them!

To start, Dave was incredibly responsive. I was on a time crunch, and Dave called me Sunday night less than an hour after I sent an email to give a quote and answer my questions. The session was scheduled for Tuesday, and I had the photos within 24 hours of selecting my favorite. On site, Dave was warm, made me feel comfortable, and helped me find the confident, friendly look I was hoping for. Being natural in front of the camera doesn't come easily to me, but Dave made the whole process painless, and I loved so many of the photos I had trouble choosing. His retouching work was wonderful, and the price was extremely competitive--one of the best I found in my search of around 10 photographers.
