While…read moreI didn't have the most glamorous of outfits and I didn't show her any photos to base our theme on, I feel we got some pretty good shots. I really liked how we tried different outfits and she was very patient with me while I changed outfits. I wish there was a bit more "WOW" factor, but I understand this is a hobby/passtime rather than her full-time job like some of the photographers I requested quotes from. When requesting a quote, Aditi was so friendly, so that's why I booked her. I enjoyed our conversation and how personal things felt. Really awesome birthday session. I like how I got high quality photos that night on a gallery-type website to download on my computer. She was on- time, wore her mask, and flowered me with compliments. Really truly a good 1st time experience and I thank Aditi.

I found Nessa on Instagram and her photos blew me away. I loved the way her photos made me feel,…read morealmost as if you were transported into a fairytale or a dream. When I contacted her, she was very responsive and sent me many examples of her portfolio. When we met with her, she was very professional and agreed to do a lengthy, multi-day wedding shooting. Fast forward to the wedding day, Nessa absolutely nailed the photos. She took beautiful candids but also managed to take scores of huge group photos of family and friends where everyone looked great and didn't blink somehow, and she did it in seemingly 1-2 seconds per group. She agreed to travel with the bride and groom to 2 locations during the wedding day (in between the ceremony and reception) and captured the most stunning autumn photos. Even though we didn't prepare for any couple poses, she shared fun ideas to make us seem more natural and it actually worked. She also was great at taking dance floor photos and everything in between. We received our plethora of beautiful photos through email and were so absolutely pleased. We would absolutely recommend Nessa as she is an expert behind the camera, super fun and easy going, and she helped us capture our day just the way we always pictured it.

Honestly, we couldn't get enough of the amazing work Nessa produced. And she's super sweet to boot! Our photos were more beautiful than we expected and we were so fortunate to have found such a talented person so early on in our engagement. Sadly, we don't live in Austin any more and can't splurge on a random anniversary photo session (I mean, who doesn't like to dress up and get their picture taken?) but we totally would if we could.

I remember my wedding like it was yesterday---actually it was 8/17/2013. I thought Maureen was very…read morekind, funny, easy to work with. Our pictures came out well. She did our engagement and wedding. The only thing is just like the previous review--There was supposed to be a 3rd shoot where I got to trash the dress shoot which was supposed to be included. We verbalized it and she promised that it was all included. I remember how we talked about the colorful pics, and she was excited about it. I think it was the "Jasmine" package which iencluded the engagement, the wedding, and the trash the dress shoots. She never reached out to me about the 3rd shoot, and when I reached out to her about doing it, she said it wasn't included, and didn't recall such thing. I felt like a fool for not getting it in writing. It was money wasted and an experience that I didn't get that I paid for and was really looking forward to. I just let it go, and took it as a lesson learned. The customer will remember every detail of what they purchased because the events are near and dear to them. For the photographer, it is one of many countless events, and they won't remember every conversation or every customer. Anyways I still have my dress 8 years and 3 babies later and hope I can find an awesome photographer to do my dress shoot with one of these days! 1

The photos lacked variety and a professional touch. I honestly feel that my father could have taken better photographs. Her "editing" just mean she makes the colors brighter. All those imperfections you hate? Still there. However, most troubling is Maureen's professionalism. She does not take ownership of mistakes (e.g., when things are "misrepresented" online regarding her packages/deals) or misunderstandings. The customer is never right according to Maureen. She is childish when confronted with a concern. Her customer service is nonexistent. She does not deliver what she has previously stated or agreed to. I only wish that there was enough room in this review for me to explain the situation exactly; but, what it boils down to is that you should go somewhere else. Save yourself the headache.
