I gave them three tries. The office is very nice and inviting. The first time I had to ask for the dentist to examine my teeth before I left. This was my first cleaning there as a new patient. They were really pushing Invisalign and I felt like they were consistently trying to "hard sell" me on things. The last time I went, I really got the feeling (again) that the Dentist was insecure and did not know what he was doing. He could not answer my questions, and when he was trying to fix my tooth, he felt so unsure of himself that I did not go back. read more

I needed a dentist for my sudden tooth ache and a quick Google search led me to this place. I was grateful that they were able to accommodate me the very next day. The facility is very clean and new. The ladies at the front desk were fantastic - the best reception staff I have ever encountered! They were so nice, helpful and went out of their way to ensure I have a stress-free visit. I saw Dr. Seto and he was AMAZING! He did not rush through the exam and most importantly, took time to explain everything and answer my questions, which is very important to me and I really appreciated it. Front office staff not well trained. Too much gossip and personal conversation is unprofessional in front of clients. This is also is not the place for high anxiety patients. It isn't taken seriously. I went in with no problems at all and came out with major issues. Never again. Also, they really push products. Not my cup of tea. This has been the worst experience I have had .. there is a huge communication problem .. attempted to have my Invisalign done here however nobody explained to me that there was a short time limit .. I ended up getting charged for most of the treatment without knowing that it had expired , I tried to give them another chance and after that made an appointment for a cleaning and I called to cancel and again the person on the phone did not inform me there was a cancellation charge they called me until the next Monday to let me know ... charged me another hundred dollars for no reason ... do not come here and if you do make sure you ask a lot of questions most likely they will forget to tell you all you need to know . read more

Love this office! Every time I come they are so nice and the people at the front always ask about my experience to make sure everything went well. I've seen two of their doctors now and both were amazing! The dentist and hygienist are still wonderful (one overshared her political views but she was still sweet). The office staff are very nice but they are either unorganized or not well trained. Several of our appointments have been mixed up. And regardless of what they tell you about coverage, confirm with your insurance company. They misquoted me and my husband and they error would have cost us thousands. So like many other businesses, the front of the house leaves a lot to be desired and the back of the house is very good. I'm hoping it gets better. read more

Alvorada Dentistry is amazing! My husband and I found Dr. Moore's practice shortly after moving to the area. It's close by, so we thought it would be a convenient option for us. And I am so glad we decided to come here. All of our visits so far have been great! We never have to sit in the waiting room for too long, and we get to sit in one of the chairs pretty quickly. And I love that when you're waiting at one of the chairs, you get to watch TV to pass the time. Everyone at the office is so nice! They all greet us and are so friendly towards us. I started going here late last year. I have a debilitating fear of going to the dentist. This is the first dental practice I have been to in 18 years that I actually trust going to! The entire staff from the front desk ladies to doctor Moore are extremely kind, thorough and patient. I know how challenging working with someone like me can be with every detail to be explained and calming me down each time. I am in town for the holidays, and before I came to the area, I had my wisdom teeth extracted in my home town. Well over the holidays I developed dry socket - which is extremely painful. On December 26 I called this office and asked if they could see me in an emergency situation due to the extreme pain. They said I could come in right away. I went in and they took great care of me and packed my dry sockets. Immediate relief! They even are having me come again in a couple days for no charge in order to re-pack. I am SO THANKFUL for them! Love Dr. Moore but her front office staff is a joke. My wife and I went there and got great service, the downfall happened after. My wife needed a series of work done so she got on zocdoc to make the appointment, she ended up having to cancel (which she did). A couple weeks later she rescheduled she was called and told that time wouldn't work so she got online and scheduled for a different day. She was called again saying that time wouldn't work, she asked to schedule a new appointment they said she couldn't and needed to call back another time. Why would a front office say they couldn't schedule you and tell you to call back at a time (the lady wouldn't say when) to reschedule. So she calls back a week later to make an appointment. She is told she has two missed appointments and fees for those (note she cancelled one and they cancelled the other). We explain to the receptionist again and again that is just not correct she doesn't seem to understand. End of the day i told her to cancel mine and my wife's appointments for cleaningings in October and asked for confirmation (which we did when the second appointment fell through and never got..still waiting on this confirmation) and my wife and I will NEVER mess with this office again. Great dentist but inept front desk staff whose errors end up costing you money. read more

Our family of Three has our first experience with Dr Moore and her staffs this afternoon, We were late for our appointment due to miss communication on our part . The staffs are very nice, Dr Moore took time to see us all. We are very impressed with Dr Moore`s professionalism and great bedside manner. The staffs are very helpful and friendly. The office is beautiful , very clean. Each exam room even has a TV to keep us calm during the procedure. Her staffs help us to figure out what should be covered by our insurance for each new treatment plan and how much we would pay from our pocket. They are very helpful. Seriously loooove this place. I went to her right when she opened since we had just moved here and needed a new dentist she happened to be very close and convenient. Had a great experience with her and she even had to clean a mess in my mouth made by another dentist. She has such high tech equipment she was able to exactly show me what was wrong and needed to be fixed. She did a more then amazing job fixing the cavities, my mouth had been hurting for months and since she redid it I have not had any pain at all. (the other dentist had told me the pain was from me tensing my jaws, well I am sure they did not cure my stress at alvorada but actually fixed the problem!) read more

Have been going to see Dr. Moore for some time. And I recently came and they have some new staff. I love Dr. Moore, but I have noticed a few things, 1) none of the staff introduce themselves. I have no clue who is the assistant or who is the front desk personnel. 2) they don't explain what they are doing--clearly. I was given a fluoride treatment that they paint on the teeth and I'm an Adult. I don't like this is kind of treatment and they did it without telling me. The office fluoride makes me sick. 3) when I checked out they didn't ask if I wanted to schedule my next cleaning. When I asked, they said "no, you're good. Just call us." Again love the clean rooms and Dr. Moore, staff could be informed more on how to interact. read more

Flat screen televisions on the walls in every room with your choice of what to watch while getting worked on. The owner Clarissa has impeccable bedside manner, I have never met a doctor/dentist with such good people skills and even better dentistry skills. At long last.... I have finally found a truly painless dentist!!! I'm over 50 and have lived all over the country. Dr. Moore is the first dentist who has been able to get me completely numb! Dr. Moore has given me a filling, a crown, and repaired a broken old crown from a previous dentist. Each time, I literally did not feel a thing. She is very kind, warm, and soothing, and she gets the work done quickly. The crowns both fit like a dream -- they both feel like real teeth. After seeing other dentists, I used to feel sore for weeks afterward, but with Dr. Moore the soreness was much shorter in duration. The office is clean, and the front office staff are professional and friendly. (The only thing is that one of them is a bit difficult to understand.) I went to Alvorada Dentistry after my best friend recommended her. We are both scared crazy over going to the dentist, and I knew if my friend found a dentist she wasn't nervous to go to, then I would be fine. She was totally right. Dr. Moore is very sweet and makes you feel like you have been seeing her for years, even if she just met you. She did one of the most thorough exams Ive ever had, and actually found an issue that my 2 prior dentists had over-looked (1 dentist I had for over 15 years, the other for 2 when I moved to VA). I know this because what I thought was "normal for me" since I had been staring at it for over 10 years, was in fact, a problem. She referred to me to a periodontist in the area. Her staff is nice as well, making you feel very welcome when you come in. Parking is easy. While I didnt have any issues that Dr. Moore needed to resolve, my friend has had fillings and a crown done by her and said she never felt a thing. And since I was terrified of going to the dentist, this is what made me go. The last dentist I went to up here, after my cleaning, i couldnt eat solid food for 3 days because my teeth were so sore...and I didnt have any cavities!! I am definitely going back to her in 6 months, and would send all my friends to her. read more
