After a 3D X-Ray - Dr. Lui took a look - and he was able to extract the fragment of bone - it was small and popped right out. Apparently if there is a fragment of tooth or bone from previous dental work - it can start to work its way outward - the body is attempting to "eject" the fragment. I had no idea the fragment was surfacing, I did not feel it. Fortunately, Dr. Lui popped it right out with no need for any local anesthetic. While…read moreI can't speak for every doctor in the practice, I've worked directly with Dr. Rena Vakay, and she's been excellent--professional, thorough, and very attentive. The staff truly makes this office stand out. Tonia at the front desk is incredibly helpful with scheduling and logistics and genuinely tries to make things easy for patients. On the clinical side, I worked closely with Christina, who assisted with my temporary crowns and works closely with Dr. Vakay. What really stood out to me was that after learning I was having surgery (unrelated to dental work), Christina actually reached out afterward to check on how I was doing. That kind of thoughtfulness is rare and says a lot about the people in this office. I also worked with Rose, who was equally careful, precise, and kind. Overall, this is a professional, caring team that clearly goes above and beyond for their patients. I'm very glad I found this office and would absolutely recommend them.

I guess I fall in the former. Only thing I know is the staff here is very friendly and they make each appointment a breeze. I know I can trust their judgement when it comes to making recommendations around dental work because the philosophy here (you'll see quotes from ancient doctors on the walls) seems to be about preventative care rather maxing out your insurance just because you haven't met your max for the year.

The dentist, Dr. Ian Milton, saw my mom for 5 minutes and took, what my mom described as, "a million X-rays". Susan, identified as "admin" on their website, and Carolina, a hygienist, came in afterwards and told my mom she needed gum treatment and various other procedures. My mom let them know she was scheduled to get her gum treatment next week. They asked for proof. (What???) They continued to push off the light cleaning, stating it could be done another time, and eventually said all of her teeth would likely fall out soon. My mom got a deep cleaning a few months ago and diligently takes care of her teeth. (So again- what??????) My mom went in at 1:50 for a 2:00 appointment with no wait time and ended up leaving at 3. Susan and Carolina badgered my mom for an hour about treatments she didn't need. My mom left without getting a cleaning. Horrible experience will never be back.

I came in for a cleaning today 9/1/26. I have a wire along my bottom 6 teeth (previously completed…read moreorthodontic treatment). During flossing, the hygienist broke part of the wire and caused it to leave a sharp edge irritating my gums and tongue. Dr. Lee came in when she was finished and said she can fix it today or I can opt to go to my ortho. Mind you, ortho appts are rarely same day so I opted to have Dr. Lee fix it. She then asked two more times what I wanted to do and when I once again told her, she advised me it may be a bit of a wait. Ok fine. But like I said three times already, I will have it fixed while I am here. It was then at the front desk where I was handed a bill for $187 to get the wire fixed. Unacceptable. I told them my wire had given me no issues up until my visit today and that I should not be the one responsible to pay out of pocket for damage that was not done by my hands. Needless to say I left without the wire being fixed. Be mindful of this review if you are considering becoming a patient here. They could pull something like this on you or your child.

Overall the experience was outstanding, the doctor explained each step of what was being done, and made sure I clearly understood each step during the procedure. It went very well and I was extremely pleased with the whole experience. It was pleasant, the entire office staff was terrific, and the doctor is very very competent, and had a great sense of humor, too, which helped with my apprehension. Saturday hours vanished, weekday hours are difficult for anyone with a full‑time job, and the new text‑based communication feels dismissive rather than supportive. Asking about weekend availability shouldn't trigger messages suggesting they "update my records" if I'm no longer interested in being a patient. This practice has strong clinical talent, but the customer service side needs immediate attention. Other reviews on YELP in the last couple of years seem to mirror my disappointment. ALSO, they may wish to remove the snarky, outdated and frankly cringe‑y "...we cater to cowards..." wording in their brochures and on their waiting room tables. It's just unnecessary. No one enjoys going to the dentist, it's a necessary experience. Here's a few examples to consider: "For anyone who prefers kindness over stress." "Perfect for patients who like their dentistry gentle, not scary." "We take the fear out of dental care -- no judgment, just comfort."
