I used to be able to make the drive but now I'm falling asleep on the road. I've been saving up for years now cause I was always told you need 20% down when you buy a place. I met up with him at his office and he drove me to all the different properties (which I very much appreciated cause I was always super sleepy after working night shifts). I never felt any pressure to buy any of the properties if I didn't like it. Even when I wasn't for sure about a place he would be like... let's just go check it out. When we finally found a place, his wife was amazing with helping me with all the financial paperwork stuff. Our first appointment was Feb 29 and the keys were in my hand April 12th. Super fast! On another note I wanted to redo the bathroom so he helped arrange for multiple contractors to come the day I got the keys and stayed with me until all of them left. We had the pleasure of working with Javier and Erica for the second time. Only this time it was to sell our home. The market at the time was very chaotic. After everything was said and done... I don't know why we waited so long to purchase a home. Javier Alvarez made purchasing our home very easy and simple, so much so that I would definitely work with him again to either sell and/or purchase another home in a heartbeat. A little bit on my experience: back in 2016, Javier was recommended to me by friends and family. I contacted him online/email and made an appointment to meet with him (his online response time was fast and it made things super convenient). Long story short, we discussed what I wanted, I provided the necessary documents and went home for the day. After taking the time to think about what we had discussed, I came to the conclusion that I was not ready to obtain the home I was inclined to have. A day or so later, I emailed Javier to informed him of my decision to back-out and his response surprised me: to the tune of "you have a good financial plan. I write this because it's true, and how I feel... As a single guy, touching 40, I felt it was time to buy my first house... We were referred to Javier by a friend and from the first time we met we knew that he was the right realtor for us.
