We tried every way we could think of to get it in the house and up the stairs ... not only was the item large and heavy ... it was also delicate and complicated to move, given its design, electrical wiring, motor and hydraulics. Clearly we were out of our league and needed help. It was 4:45 pm. on a Wednesday. We found On Call Moving's info online, called the number, and connected immediately with Jim. Jim was a Godsend! He was scheduled to be down the street from us, and made a quick trip to our home to see how he could help. Over the next few days he worked closely with Joleesa, at On Call's office, to get our job done. Despite On Call's extremely busy schedule, everything came together Friday afternoon. Joleesa called to get us in their system. Jim arrived with a three-man crew: Jesse, Sergio and Carlos. Everyone was super polite and respectful, professional, skilled at their job and well prepared, bringing clean moving blankets and securing tie downs. Jim, Jesse, Sergio and Carlos communicated with us and with each other calmly, clearly, thoughtfully and effectively. Together they got the job done safely and efficiently ... most importantly, with no injuries ... and happily, with no damage to the item or our home. As a local in our small, mountain town, I hesitate to write anything negative about local…read morebusinesses - only doing so when I feel it's absolutely warranted. In the case of T&S appliance repair, it most certainly is. My LG refrigerator died over the holidays in 2020. I was desperate to find a repair shop, but everybody I called was either fully booked for weeks or refused to work on LG products. Shannon with T&S saw a post of mine on Eagle County Classifieds, and actually reached out to me with an offer to take a look at it. He first contacted me on December 31st, and we arranged for him to come look at it on Monday, January 4th (delayed bc of the holiday weekend). He discovered that the compressor was shot, a common problem with LG appliances apparently, and advised me to contact LG directly to obtain the new parts. I did as he asked, and LG sent over an authorization to perform work to him immediately. He told me as soon as the compressor arrived he would schedule a time to come over and install it for $700.... Days passed, and I heard nothing from him. Days turned into weeks, and I still heard nothing from him. I called/texted/fb messaged him 1x per week throughout all of January and most of February, to no avail. I know for a FACT that he received all of my messages, because FB notifies you when the recipient has viewed a message. I can only assume he ignored all of my voicemails as well. I was incredibly patient, polite, and kind in all of my messages, simply asking for an update on whether or not the part had arrived yet. It has now been exactly 8 weeks that I have been without a working refrigerator, 6 weeks since he stopped communicating with me. I called LG and was informed that he never even submitted the paperwork to order the new compressor parts. If you want to waste 2 months of your time and energy dealing with a company that over-promises, under-delivers, and is completely incapable of basic communication, then T&S appliance repair is perfect for you! The ONLY reason I'm giving him 2 stars instead of 1, is because he was literally the only person in the entire valley who came to diagnose the fridge. Shannon, if you're reading this, please do the respectful thing and contact me to make things right.

On the 3rd move, as I was unpacking, I noticed that several dishes in the bottom of a box were broken. I almost didn't even say anything because when I've hired movers in the past, it seems like some damage is unavoidable. I contacted the Wood Doctor, spoke to Kim, she appreciated the problem I had, me in Los Angeles and the damaged pool table in the Vail area. Kim was a huge help and worked with me to repair the damaged pool table. Her professionalism put me at ease and I felt confident that they would do a nice job. The pool table was beautifully repaired, within the two week time frame that she promised, and the price was more than reasonable. I've added Kim and the Wood Doctor to my gratitude list!

I hired Victor to repair some furniture that was damaged after a interstate move. He gave us a "not…read moreto exceed" bid. Needless to say he did NOT stay within the agreed upon terms. He charges $90 per hour and agreed to fix a table in 5 hours or less. He then proceeded to charge us for 7 hours without notification Ahead of time. Then on 2 other pieces of furniture he sent a bill for $100 over what we agreed upon. When I asked what the excessive charges were for he said "set up fees". He never told us there was a set up fee. I believe practices like Victor's are very unethical. I would not recommend him due to his add on fees after the fact.
