As a business owner and active BNI member, I take referrals, expectations, and follow-through very…read moreseriously. That's exactly why this review is being written. I paid $350 for a full detail on my truck, with clear expectations set in advance--including specific items like properly cleaning and conditioning my tonneau bed cover, along with delivering a professional-level detail overall. It's also worth noting that when I first brought the truck in, we even discussed how clean the interior was inside. I take pride in maintaining my vehicles, and this was not a heavily soiled or neglected interior. That context makes the end result even more disappointing. What I received was not even close to what was discussed. Multiple areas were missed, and the overall quality fell well below what I would expect from a professional detailer. After the initial service, I reached out and, to his credit, he acknowledged the issues and stated--clearly in writing--that he would redo the vehicle. That should have been the point where accountability and professionalism took over. Instead, when I returned, the conversation quickly shifted entirely. I was told that because I had mentioned a budget, the work had intentionally been scaled back and that my expectations were "too high." That was never communicated upfront and directly contradicts both the original agreement and his own message taking responsibility. What concerns me more than the quality of the work is the complete lack of consistency, ownership, and professionalism in how this was handled. At one point, the interaction escalated to the point where I was told, "we're done here," and was handed my keys as the conversation was shut down. I don't take writing reviews like this lightly. I understand people go through personal challenges--I've been through my own. But when you run a business, especially one built on referrals and reputation, the standard is simple: you take care of the customer, you stand behind what you say, and you follow through. Unfortunately, that standard was not met here. My recommendation to anyone considering this service is to get very clear, written expectations of exactly what will be done--and to make sure the person you're trusting with your vehicle stands behind their word when something falls short.

Damaged Vehicle Policy Over Integrity and People…read more I have been going to Super Sonic Carwash since high school. I got a new Nissan NV van with a roof rack. I took it to Supersonic on State Street in Orem today. As I pulled up to the person taking the payment I asked if I was too tall for "The Tunnel" (is what they call it) He reassured me that I was not, and that "vans of our size went through all of the time." I paid and then proceeded to the person helping cars line up their tires. Again I asked him if I was too tall. He stopped the machine, had me pull up to the height arch, had me open my car door, climbed up onto the car looked down the top of my rack and affirmed, "looks great! Your good to go!" Going through the tunnel, I heard a series of loud scrapes and thumps. Pulled out and inspected the roof of my van. The entire rack has large gouges and scrapes from the front of the rack to the back. I talked with and showed the damage to two mangers immediately. Caleb and Ben. Both of them told me repeatedly, "clearly our guys made a BIG mistake!" They made a report. (attached) We waited for 20-30 minutes. Then they both came back to my car and told me they couldn't do anything "because my rack is an after market rack". Then Ben (general manager of the tunnel) said to me something to the effect of "I really like this company, but some of the policies just don't make sense." I asked if I could talk to their boss, they said I could not, but they would talk to him and call me on Monday, but "that's just our policy." I pleaded with them to have integrity, put people over policy and DO THE RIGHT THING!! They admitted more times than 3 that this was their fault. And they are unwilling to anything about it. I am frustrated and sad when people refuse to operate with integrity, and are more committed to their policy than their people! I will update this review if they decide to make it right. But otherwise I will take my cars to Quick Quack, they are much closer to our house anyway.
