First off, I had no idea that this was a faith based organization when I went there (It was not…read moremade clear on other search engines). I am truly humiliated for expressing my views freely as I was under the impression that this was a safe no-judgement environment for women and pro-choice. THEY ARE NOT PRO-CHOICE THEY ARE PRO-LIFE. If I had known this I would have kept my views/thoughts/feelings to myself. Got my ultrasound and then gotten out of there (I just wanted one asap and they had the first availability). I personally feel that it is completely rude to disrespect someone else's beliefs and I am completely humiliated by my unintentional rudeness. They are nice enough people, but be prepared if you are prochoice to keep your thoughts to yourself and just get in and get out as fast as you can and find a place that is a better match for you, an OBGYN on your own moving forward! I felt completely alienated and offended as soon as the woman said she would be praying for me and asked if I wanted to pray together. - Got up and ran out. Things like this are not helpful to say to someone if you do not know what they believe in. Being prochoice is not frowned upon within my faith, and I do not appreciate the implications that I am some lost soul as I am not. They clearly have good enough intentions, but when it comes to situations like this for employees to make their own personal beliefs known is completely unprofessional! Please consider changing your business model and practice or make it clear that you are a pro-life organization from the start. I just hope they honor their word of never contacting me as I requested. Everyone has the right to believe whatever they want, but when a woman is vulnerable and afraid that is not the time to press your personal views on a person.
