I had a great experience with Irene Torres. I got bit by a dog just above my lip. I had to get 7…read morestitches. I was very worried about getting them taken out because I know it can be very painful because I knew how tight the stitches were and how sensitive the area was. I went in to get them removed, and she told me originally to wait another day or two, but when I told her how concerned I was about who did it, she called me back to tell me that she had contacted the other NP that would be there that day to ask her how she felt about removing the stitches, and she didn't feel comfortable doing it. Irene researched the amount of time needed to leave the stitches in to make sure it would be ok to remove them that day, and said that I would be fine to come back that day while she was there. It showed how much she truly cares about her patients. She did an excellent job with the removal, and I had very little pain. I was so relieved to have them out, and it's still healing up nicely. Irene has years of experience, is very kind and does a great job. CVS is lucky to have her! Thanks again!

Tri care is a real piece of work, they did some shady stuff to cancel insurance in first place. So here we are and the wait was long. And it helps to register online and pre register. I came back in the afternoon thankfully the receptionist was kind and kept my name and records on the list so it was easier when I came back! When I'm finally called back we do the basic routine and the nurse leaves. All I hear is complaining about how me leaving and coming back messed up some sort of NPM or whatever score/metric for the day. Which was very discouraging as I had no intent to cause any issues.
