I was very worried about getting them taken out because I know it can be very painful because I knew how tight the stitches were and how sensitive the area was. I went in to get them removed, and she told me originally to wait another day or two, but when I told her how concerned I was about who did it, she called me back to tell me that she had contacted the other NP that would be there that day to ask her how she felt about removing the stitches, and she didn't feel comfortable doing it. Irene researched the amount of time needed to leave the stitches in to make sure it would be ok to remove them that day, and said that I would be fine to come back that day while she was there. It showed how much she truly cares about her patients. She did an excellent job with the removal, and I had very little pain. I was so relieved to have them out, and it's still healing up nicely. Irene has years of experience, is very kind and does a great job. CVS is lucky to have her! Thanks again!

There was no actual doctor or nurse practitioner there! I have a lot of questions about that... 1. How is there no doctor or nurse practitioner physically at an urgent care facility during open hours? 2. Why on earth did the website let me schedule an appointment for a service they couldn't provide? 3. Why did they not contact me at the phone number or email I provided when I scheduled the appointment when they saw that I had signed up for a service they weren't providing that day?
