Two signs on the wall in the exam room for "lab fee schedule". The VERY short (as in attention), very unfriendly "P.A." stood there and told me "fever of unknown origin", that they don't do lab testing there, and to follow up with my PCP. Well, duh on the unknown origin, that's why we are there, lazy, terrible medical provider, as well as my PCP suggesting that I come in, because she was unavailable. This thick boned P.A. woman that Bronson has working today, Friday, 7/25/25, ranks amongst the worst providers I have ever experienced - and I have a catastrophic claim. She's absolutely terrible, in my opinion, should be removed and not even be allowed to clean bathrooms because, in my opinion, she's not out to say people's lives in any way shape or fashion. A colossal waste of time and exposure to nasty people and their inevitable germs. It would be my guess she was trained by the, uh hmmm, Bronson system itself. Standards have taken a serious lapse, in my opinion, and the shift to PA's providing the servicing, while a 15 minute exam still clocks out averaging $500 - for PAs! (in my opinion, but check your statements) Absolutely ridiculous! If only we could drive to the talented, moralistic and integrity doctors and providers at UoM Health System. DEMOTE OR FIRE!! My daughter came down with a sore throat and fever yesterday. I checked in online, proceeded there and they got her in immediately. They were kind and performed the strep test (positive) even with a very cranky 10 year old that hates the doctor. By the time I made it to my pharmacy, the prescription was filled. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The clinic was quiet and not busy when we arrived at 4:45 on a Sunday. read more

Nobody wants to go to fast care, but we all get sick. I have been to this location several several times and they have always been fine. The docs are great. But the front staff... I came in with pink eye. Everyone there is sick and every chair is full in the waiting room and there's even a guy in the foyer waiting on a wheelchair. I filled out the form, asked how long the wait was and they told me an hour. I looked around at the full waiting room and back at her. "You can wait in your car if you'd like," she said. "OK, cool!" I said. I went to wait in my car and realized I didn't have my phone. Went back and they didn't have it. I had to use the bathroom, so I went to meijer next door. Came back in and waited in line to speak with them (35 minutes went by), and they told me to fill out a form. I told them I already had and the woman at the front desk told me they threw it away when I "left." She never said "stay in your car and don't leave." I had to use the bathroom, lady - Jesus... I'm disappointed at my loss of patience with that woman, but I did not see any evidence of "Bronson Positivity" anywhere on the premises. This woman doesn't have the skill or compassion to work at a fast food drive thru, I don't think she should be working at fast care. When the health care system is this broken, you'd think that the staff could show a little compassion. read more

My medical issue was a plugged ear which was making it hard to hear from one ear. Front desk employees were very pleasant. Once in exam room that was a different experience. A female came in to do my vitals whom was nice and courteous. She showed concern about my blood pressure "that's not good". PA came in w/o any introduction. His attitude and body language was anything but friendly. Came off as aggressive. Maybe he was having a bad personal day?? Stated someone would come in and try to clear the blockage. Another female, no introduction, to irrigate my ear. Before, during and after there was barely if any verbal communication. Once completed she just left the exam room. PA returned checked my ear which he stated was good. He started to leave but then turned around grabbing his stethoscope from around his neck and proceeded to check my lungs. He only placed his stethoscope on the very top of my chest and very top of my back. Which I found to be strange. Having had this done numerous times throughout my life. Once completed he told me I was free to go. Never once commenting on my lungs or blood pressure. I found this experience to be vey disconcerting. Including the fact I, at no time, did I witness washing of hands or use of hand sanitizer. I had visited this facility a couple years back and was treated with excellent care. Im not sure what this place is for. Between my family and myself, we have been tuned down the last 4 times. It's either "we don't do that here so go somewhere else" or "we don't take care of boo-boos" (yes, those were the words used on my daughters fractured thumb. The front desk lady really hates her job. So I really think you're taking risk by going there first. read more

It is great to have an urgent center that is fast and convenient, you can go there for anything not related to an emergency like broken bones, I have been there for a sinus infection and lately for a UTI they took care of me in courteous and speedy manner, I got prescriptions sent to my pharmacy and I was good as new in no time. read more

Don't bother unless you're a child over 18 months with a possible ear infection. I'm an RN x 45 years. I'm appalled at how limited their services are. Basically they are triage for a real urgent care or an emergency room. It would be best to call them first before you go there. read more

This is the 2nd time I have came to the Bronson Fast Care in the past couple of months and the front desk staff and MA was rude!! I understand we interrupted their conversation but isn't the patients that keep the doors open? The Providers in the back are always Great! So I am sure the providers can't be aware of the negative vibe they give off in the waiting room.. Both times my daughter and myself was the only one in the waiting room and only car in the parking lot- so we know it is not from being overwhelmed. The front desk female worker was very rude but the nurse was very nice and through with my sons exam!

Went because of unremitting asthma symptoms & slight cold without any improvement from usual rescue meds. Was seen after a short wait & the doctor asked appropriate & insightful questions about my symptoms. Had a much better than average discussion about why treatments I'd tried hadn't resolved the issue & whether antibiotics might be helpful. read more

This location is the worst place you could ever go to for medical needs. My girlfriend went in for a rash that she developed through Las Vegas due to the heat. The doctor PAMELA BLAKEMORE- RAY, NP constantly stated that it had nothing to do with eczema but when receiving the paper it states that the visit was because she had eczema. Then prescribe a medication for eczema. I don't understand how PAMELA BLAKEMORE- RAY, NP could be so ignorant and incompetent about her job when the medication provided cause an increase in abscess. Especially when my girlfriend just has the surgery 2 years ago. Also, she never asked if she had any surgery nor did she look in the chart. Overall, I will NEVER come to this location again. This place is not helpful nor knowledge enough to the hold the title/schooling they had. read more

Even though meds require me to see a doc, the best she could reschedule to is june... the person on the phone was completely uncaring and ignorant about the whole thing and the doc Cara klein wasted my time and energy and deserves to be released. read more

Contrary to other reviews, I found the quality of the care and treatment by all the staff to be excellent. The wait time issue and the fact that you can make an appointment (I didn't know this) needs to be addressed by the facility as people should be seen based upon when they arrive. I waited over 3 hours on a Saturday and have provided feedback to Bronson requesting that they address this issue. Above all else, I received excellent care which is the most important. read more

Fast care at Meijer on Westnedge just ok. Not real busy and got in fairly quickly. Nurse Pract was ok but misdiagnosed the patient's illness and did not prescribe any medicine. This was verified an hour later when we went to the Pediatrics office. The Dr finally knew what the exact problem was. Shouldn't an urgent care be able to diagnose properly? read more

When this was urgent care it was alternative to the ER, it was quick, competent, and charged the insurance differently. I've now been three times between myself and children, and all 3 times been told they can not help/no longer have the capability. 1. Foot pain, ok I can accept that 2. Although my interaction with the receptionist was positive, that is where the positive interactions stopped. The FNP that I was seen by was not kind or companionate with her diagnosis or her delivery. Not once but twice did I hear her discussing and laughing with other nurses after walking out of the room. She did not inform my of any aftercare and did not seem to care about any of my concerns. I would not recommend coming to this location. read more

Called before I went to verify I could be seen, and when I got there (after leaving work early) was greeted by the rudest receptionist I have come across, made to feel like I was an illiterate moron, and told I would have to call a phone number in order to be seen even though I had recently had a negative covid test within a week. If this was the case, then why did they tell me to come over and be seen? I then waited on hold (called the number she told me to call) for more than 45 min with no answer. This is NOT an urgent care facility. The office is an urgent care online, and the staff will not tell you otherwise in person. You will receive additional bills from your insurance. The staff is unfriendly and they have a defensive attitude when you are confused about the extra payments. Additionally, I was seen by a PA that had no idea what was going on, and they prescribed me a medication I ended up not needing. Don't go here. read more

We have been very happy with the care we've received at Bronson FastCare. The staff is always kind and efficient. We are typically in and out within a half hour. Only one time was it approaching a one hour visit and that was the height of flu season and the waiting room was packed. I can't fault them for that. In fact, I can't find fault with anything at this facility. It's perfect for the small stuff that isn't ER worthy, but you're sick/hurting enough that you can't wait for your regular doctor to fit you in their schedule. read more

The facility is attractive and immaculate. That's the only good thing I can say. The receptionist/medical assistant Heather did not show any interest in providing a positive experience from the moment we walked in the door. She seemed inconvenienced by our visit. The PA probably knew what he was doing but did not have great communication skills or warmth. Stared at the computer screen the entire time I was in the exam room except when he listened to my heart. Don't let the name of this facility fool you, this is not an urgent care facility. Bronson charges your visit here as a doctor visit or as a specialty doctor visit, depending on the doctor on staff the day of your visit. My husband went in for a tick bite and was charged for a specialty doctor visit. The worse part is he didn't even see a doctor, only a Physicians Assistant, yet he was charged for a specialist!! If you want to get what you pay for, go to Bronson Hospital downtown, not this poorly named offshoot. read more
