If any of my employees treated anyone like that- they would have been fired!!!!!! It took me about 20 minutes to find the parking space to go downstairs underneath the building down the hallway near a knife shop to even find their hole in the wall. I took it to the the Martinez Cleaners near State Street and they were so sweet and said they would do it no problem. They love the idea that my grandson will have my giraffe T-shirt when he comes to visit as a night shirt To have this couple treat me that way and tell me to go away... Was very insulting! I have friends that do own businesses from Thailand, China and Japan and have only been treated me and others, sweet and kind and with respect as I give them. It was as though I was in the middle of a Seinfeld episode with a soup Nazi saying "no soup for you, go away, go away" - I stood there, totally in shock and I said paused and said in my heart- I will never go back and I will tell other people-stay away, they're not nice! !!" so I will take my money somewhere else where it's appreciated!. Once, I got there, I had my patch sewn on and looking great in about 5 minutes and charged a very reasonable price, but I did leave a good tip because of their quick service, their nice attitude, and their awesome and very fast work. At first, consultation of what I wanted done went smoothly, so smoothly in fact that I was sure that it was going to be exactly what I wanted. A few weeks later, I went to try on the alterations and the back bustle button wasn't as high as I wanted it to be, so I had them alter it again. I told them exactly where to put it and to keep it the same design only higher. I came back and picked up the dress and thought it had been fixed for my wedding day, which was weeks away. When I went to try on my wedding dress the morning of the ceremony, let's just say I had a panic attack. The bustle wasn't where it was supposed to be, in fact it was so wrong that it looks really bad! Yes, I shed tears that morning because of it, and my saving grace was a family member with a sewing kit who was able to sew together everything where I wanted it to be. I am leaving this review just so that if you're looking for alterations here, be mindful that you need to do this months and months ahead of time so that every detail is perfect. I'm not sure what happened, but it felt like my words weren't heard or lost in translation when I asked for help second alteration. I didn't ask for the money back I spent, only because my wedding day had come and gone and I am not someone who wants to fight or have confrontation. I just wanted to leave a review because I still think about what happened..... a year later.
