Every bride knows that the dress sets the tone for your day. I chose what I believed to be a beautiful dress and Rozi took it to the next level with some special customizations- it fit like a dream. Rozi was amazing to work with and I will forever go back to her for all of my alterations! It was truly a pleasant experience from start to finish. I took a bridesmaid dress in a week before I needed it done, fully expecting to be rejected or to pay a crazy price. But Rozi said the time crunch would be no problem, and she didn't gauge me on the price. My dress was perfect when I picked it up and I'll definitely be back for my own wedding dress. I do not recommend Rozis. Had a horrible time with alterations for a bridesmaid dress. She hemmed it which was great. But I need fabric added and a corset back the back does not lay flat said there was nothing that she could do. she didn't add a panel so you could see my whole back. She added the panel after I asked but no snap on the back to attach it to the other side said she would fix when I went back to get it she never added the snap. There were stains all over it and she tried to say it was like that. When I tried it on the day before there were no stained. She cleaned it came back to get it and she told me since I was paying with a card there would be a 7% fee. She did not tell me this before when I was dropping it off I needed cash or check. I'm getting married in less than a couple of weeks and have been very fortunate to have been introduced to Rozi and her team. My future sister in law had her alterations done by Rozi ten years ago and recommended her. She prefaced with, "Rozi will tell you like it is, whether or not it can be done in your time frame, and if it can't be done or done on time, she won't take on the project to do halfway." I appreciate that because I believe quality control should always supersede the 'make it work' mentality that so many people have become accustomed to. From the first consultaition, I barely had to say but a few words and Rozi knew exactly what my dress was meant to look like. She was kind and polite, but kept on task, she was very professional. I think all in all I had four appointments with Rozi, my youngest sister had two, and my other sister will have a rush appointment coming up. She lives out of state and they were kind enough to set aside a day to alter her dress right before the wedding. Each appointment I had, was better than the last. I had an idea for a style of veil that wasn't available in any retail shops, and brought in a headpiece and she created it custom for me for less than half the price of the veils at any of the bridal stores. She even made a suggestion that made a beautiful improvement to the original idea! I've been described before as hard to please ( Ilike to think of it as "precise"), and Rozi and her staff left me feeling taken care of, and impressed. They were on time, and she even made an additional adjustment at the final fitting and instead of letting me leave with the dress, she asked to correct something that I hadn't even noticed. I picked up the dress 30 minutes later and gave her a hug thanking her for her hard work. I can't compare her pricepoints to any other alterations shops, because I've not been a bride before, but I believe her work was very much worth the expense. Also, each time I called I spoke with Laura-or Lauren and she was a true pleasure on the phone as well as when I visited in person! She was sweet, polite, and patient. read more

I took my bridal gown to Rozi in the middle of May to be ready for my wedding August 4th. It needed to be taken in on the top and bustled. I will say that the adjustment to the top after a few fittings was done nicely. My bustle was very pretty, but so complicated that even the people who went with me to learn how to do it could not get it right on wedding day. I did not enjoy the customer service at this facility, and actually left crying after Rozi was rude to me at a dress fitting, when my dress was supposed to be done and was not. Three days before my wedding I went to pick my dress up, and was told there was a black spot on it that needed to be cleaned so I had to come back later to pick it up. I noticed when I got the dress home that there were many snags and pulls in the organza overlay on the skirt of the dress. For the money I paid for these alterations, I was disappointed in the time it took, the overall outcome, and the service I received. I am giving it 2 stars only because the dress fit properly, and all in all it looked pretty on my wedding day despite the flaws noticed when looking at it close up. This alteration process added stress to an already stressful event, and I would highly recommend making sure that you have plenty of time for multiple appointments to ensure you have your dress in a timely manner. read more

I came to Rozi in January with my grandmother's wedding dress, a 55 year old gown, with the hopes of tailoring it to fit me on my wedding day. With months of work and Rozi's incredible craft, she brought my grandmother's dress back to life and gave me something you could not put a price on. I am beyond amazed and have a deep respect for Rozi and her talent. Not only did she make this experience special for me, but she also had an obvious passion for what she does and there is nothing more pleasant than watching an artist at work. I took my bridesmaid dress here to have the straps shortened and the bust taken in. During the initial fitting, I felt comfortable with how things would turn out. When I returned to pick the dress up, I asked to try it on before paying and Rozi almost seemed surprised that I should want to try it on to make sure it fits. She just said "If you want". So I tried it on and struggled to get it zipped... I could barely breath and it felt like a corset. The straps were also still at least a couple inches too long. She played it off like it was my fault and asked if I wore a bra during the fitting (which i did). No apology or anything. I mean these alterations were WAY off and not even close to how it was pinned and measured. My biggest frustration was the feeling from her that this was due to something I did and she did not take responsibility for the mistake. When I picked it up a week later, It did fit well, but there were a couple snags on the overlay of the dress (Rozi did not react when I told her) and I could see the remnants of the straps where they were snipped off (which she did fix). Next time, I will be going to a more customer friendly establishment. read more

There is no job too difficult for Alterations by Rozi! If you need a zipper replaced, a lining repaired or replaced, or anything that needs to be fitted and altered, this is the shop to go to! They have been in business for over 10 years and provide good service at reasonable prices. read more

They were recommended to us so my sister took her wedding dress there and I took my bridesmaids dress. I had to go back twice because they took my dress in by a full inch too much!! My sister ended up going back 4 times and each time she had to ask for the same things to be done (ie: hiding the cups in the dress).. they also took her dress in by too much and had to let it back out. We ended up picking up my sister's dress 3 days before the wedding, which is ridiculous and caused WAY too much stress for the bride. The place is NOT cheap, and if you expect your customers to pay that much then the job should be done RIGHT and COMPLETELY. I should add that both of us saw Rozi for changes and talked to HER about what needed to be changed, so there is no reason for the dresses to have been altered incorrectly. I won't be taking my wedding dress there, I'll find somewhere closer for the price and service received. read more
