Tinting choices were explained and demonstrated with a heat lamp. I decided to wait at the facility for installation and it was completed earlier than promised. Price was competitive and staff was courteous and helpful. Very satisfied. read more

They did a great job! Window tonight looks great! No bubbles. Good pice for ceramic tint. Fast service. Done within 2 hours.

Great service, professional and quick! Provided lots of good info on the type of tint I chose for my vehicle.

Awesome customer service and speedy work! Had tint put on my scion xa and it looks beautiful! They talked me through different options and were not pushy on any certain kind. I ended up going with the solarceramic and what a difference already! No heat from the sun! They gave me an estimate of 2 hours for installation but being so early with no other cars in the shop - I was in and out in under an hour!!! Will definitely be recommending to family and friends! read more

Alta Mere - 2006 Scion xA - Car Window Tinting Near Me - Plano, Texas

After extensive research on tint shops I decided to go to Alta Mere based on the good reviews I found as well as some great spring specials they were running. I called and talked to the owner Randy and discussed which tint would be best for my needs. Surprisingly he recommended the least expensive lifetime warranty film they offer (my car doesn't have advanced electronics that the metalized film may interfere with). I scheduled an appointment for Saturday. I took the car in and the check in process was quick and efficient. I brought the car in at 1pm and was promised it back around 3pm. The car was finished as promised and when I came back to pick it up I could instantly see the difference! The car looked FANTASTIC with the new tint. After giving the tint a couple of days to smooth out I am happy to say that it was done PERFECTLY. The film was expertly cut and precisely installed. There are cheaper places to get your tint done, however I don't know that you will be as happy with the results. I think Alta Mere did a fantastic job at a great value! I will be bringing my future vehicles to Randy for tint! read more

*WARNING* DO NOT GET YOUR WINDOWS TINTED AT ALTA MERE. I got my windows tinted here and after 5 days I noticed little bubbles on all my windows which my back window had over 30+ bubbles. I took my car back to Alta Mere and talked with Randy (owner or manager) and he said there's not much he can do it's normal. I got my previous car tinted and there was no bubbles in any of the windows so I even took my car to 3 different car tinting places to verify and they told me my tint was done "half ass." Randy refused to give me a refund or redo my tint. I paid almost $400 for the job. This is the worse service I have ever received. I just bought a 45K car and now the windows make it look horrible. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE TO GET TINT. *UPDATE: I went back to Alta Mere today to get 3 windows re-tinted that Randy promised me. When I arrived I told him I went to 3 different tint places to get it inspected. Randy said, "I saw the review." Now he told me he changed his mind and will only do my back window that has 30+ bubbles since I won't work with him even though I have lifetime warranty and one of the windows was peeling. You will see this shop on channel 5 investigates. This is a very shady shop run by unprofessionals. read more

I had my windows tinted when I purchased my car from Huffines in Plano 2013. My back window tint started bubbling and I called Randy not knowing what to expect. Randy researched and told me I had a lifetime warranty. Made an appointment over their website for this am. Picked my car up in about 2 hours and I am so happy with the outcome. Even though it was the back window I feel like I did when it first done. Happy happy happy. Randy even came out to inspect with me and saw a small bubble and it was fixed in a matter of seconds. I'm very satisfied!!! read more

Professional, experienced window tinting at a good price. Would definitely use again.

We had two of our vehicles windows tinted at Alta Mere. The experience was extremely positive. We were able to get both vehicles done the same day and were given a price break for having multiple vehicles. The Randy and staff had us in and out. Fantastic experience! I am super impatient and when I bought a new car and wanted tint ASAP, I called around and was told I'd have to wait anywhere from a week to a month to get my car tinted. I called Alta Mere Plano and they worked me in, same day I called, even though they were booked. It is the BEST tint I've ever had and the price was awesome! I never write reviews, but this was a great experience and I just had to show the guys (and gals) there how much I appreciate them and their amazing commitment to customer service! Thanks Alta Mere Plano, my Volvo looks awesome! read more

Read the very positive reviews and decided to have them add window tint to my wife's truck. Experienced excellent customer service .They answered all my questions and quoted me a fair price. The work was done on time and looks great. I could not have asked for any more. My wife and I were very pleased and I can certainly recommend this shop for their window tinting. read more

Had the tint replaced on the door windows of my 2018 Challenger this morning. Sean and Dakota were exceptionally knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. They walked me through my options and helped me decide the correct block for my needs. There was no pressure and no judgement if I'd wanted to go darker than street-legal. They pointed out some flaws with the existing tint on the back windows so that I would know about them but since I was already there, we replaced those as well. I'm so glad I did! My car looks so sharp with street-legal on the doors and the darkest available on the back sides! Thank you, Alta Mere!! The nerdy woman with the Switch will be back when it's time for more upgrades! read more

I stumbled upon Alta Mere here on Yelp while looking to get my windows tinted. After reading all of the great reviews I decided to request a quote. Within ten minutes I received a detailed response from Randy which he included info on some specials they were running at the time. That afternoon I called to make an appointment, and they were able to work me in the next day if I brought it in around the time they opened. The next day I dropped it off, went and got breakfast, and they had it done before noon. Randy and his team did an incredible job and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to have quality work done! read more

These guys do awesome work! Took my car in for the Wincos tint as part of the deal I had with the dealership, so I got a really great deal on upgrading to the Wincos which I had on the last car and wanted on the new ride (trust me, it's worth the extra money). But their pricing does seem in line with everybody else, it was a little less expensive than the last place I had tinting done at for the same tint. They had the job done in around 2 hours just as promised. I would recommend you make an appointment and don't just walk in. Also, I would check to see if they have any coupons available on their site before going. If I had one small suggestion it would be to put a little caution sticker over the window buttons so you don't accidentally roll down the window. I put tape over mine just to be safe (I'm forgetful, don't judge me!) but the last place I went did this and I thought it was a nice touch. read more

I need to tint windows on my new BMW and after doing a research, I narrowed my options to a mobile shop out of Fort Worth, SunMasters and Alta Mere Plano. To make a long story short - only this vendor had good reviews... they are not the cheapest however, their website provided good information and education on different options. They have been in business for a long time and seems to have all I was looking for. Currently they are running some soft of 'winter' special with great discounts on some great film. I went with Wincos based on its specs. Since not many people do window tint in the winter, I got there at lunch around 12:30 and was out in 45 minutes. Car looked great, everyone was very friendly and professional. If you are looking for a quality tint job - I would say look no further and trust this guys... read more

I purchased a Groupon for tinting for my recently purchased BMW. I called on a Friday and the following weekend I scheduled the tinting. Thanks Alta Mere... appreciate your friendly service and thorough tint job! =0) read more

Alta Mere is honestly great. Wonderful, friendly service. I had my windows tinted by them in 2001 or so and it lasted a good 10 years. I recently bought a new car and had trouble with the dealership tinting it. i had to have it done 2 times and taken off by the dealership, they did a pretty terrible job. They said i should expect bubbles on all the windows. ha! I took it by Alta Mere and Randy said no they just did a bad job. Alta mere just did mine today and i am so happy with it. It looks great. Dave is helped a bunch too! no bubbles....they are really friendly and i highly recommend. Great price, quick service and lifetime warranty. Amazing. read more

Top notch product and customer service. I brought in my new car wanting Wincos tint since it is the best. They were able to give me an appointment right away and get me out of there in about 20 minutes. I ended up not liking the blue-ish tint (it did not match my already factory tinted back windows) and Randy was SO NICE about it! They offered to fix it right away (even that same day). They replaced the tint with another one to make me happy. They really know how to treat people well, they have good product and I look forward to more business with them in the future. Thanks again, guys! read more
