The owner quoted me a discounted "cash price" over the phone of $260 for windshield tint. Told him I would call him back after I did a bit more research and compared pricing. I called him back several days later, he made it seem like he didn't recall who I was, and when I refreshed his memory and gave him my number he claimed he would think about it and call me back, which he never did... that's not how you run a professional business. Very shady. Don't risk your hard earned money and take your car there. read more

One of the best examples of excellent customer service I've experienced. They installed my dash cam system and a couple of weeks later had to have the front windshield replaced due to a warranty issue. The dealer replaced the windshield shield but failed to reinstall the front camera correctly. Called Dan, took it back to them and reinstalled it correctly and didn't charge a dime. Highly recommend them for any of their advertised services as they actually make an effort to do the job correctly and then stand behind it even if it's not really their responsibility. read more

My friends and I all chipped in last June for my husband's birthday and got a gift certificate. He had just purchased a new pickup and what better gift than tinting the windows. Fast forward to last evening, I called Alta Mere and wanted to make an appointment for the husband. I spoke with Dan and from the first "Hello," the level of service has been impeccable! I was expecting to have to wait for an appointment but we were able to get in today. I gave Adam all of the details for the job and this morning when my husband took the truck in, he was greeted by name from Dan. The whole service (front two windows) took all of a couple hours. When it came to pay, we did not realize the gift certificate was good for 6 months. (Honestly, we didn't look at it again after his birthday until today.) The total today was $210 and the GC was $250. They accepted the GC even after we said they didn't have to at all. That is what I say is top notch service from start to finish. Let me be clear... please do not take old expired GC's in thinking they will accept. It was a gracious gesture with no expectancy. Thank you, Alta Mere and Dan, for superb service!! read more

Quality! Quality in service, installation and ease of doing business! Other service industries should get lessons from this operation managed by Dan! I completely dislike crawling into a solar oven which is what a poorly tinted vehicle feels like during 9 months of the year in Texas - or - driving down the road and getting a tan on one arm as the sunlight etches your arm through the window! I needed window tinting for my new vehicle and have had 3 others done by this location over the last 15 years. Dan knows the laws, his product and hires exceptionally skilled staff. A quick coordination visit, a short call, and Dan was going to fit me in. He knew what I wanted and offered his welcomed advice. All was set. I was going to get a variety of shading in the ceramic film. (Darker on the rear side, lighter on the rear, almost clear on the front sides and the darker visor strip on the front.) You know you are at the right provider of vehicle tinting when the other vehicles being dropped off and parked to the left and right of yours cost 2-3 times what you paid and yours wasn't cheap! It was ready for pick up exactly on time, perfectly installed (no bubbles, dust specs or scratches plus aligned perfectly). They provided instructions and some stickers to remind you to let the film dry before you roll down the windows plus how to safely clean them. Sorry, no pictures, but nothing to see as you look through a perfectly tinted window! read more

I'm satisfied with the quality of my tinting. Service was fast and friendly. My car was done 2 hours after I dropped it off. Note: plan to drop off, since a waiting area was not an option, unless you want to stand outside for a few hours. read more

Great window tint and professional staff. Expensive but solid product. I would recommend to a friend

The tint on the back window of my 2016 Accord was cracking and peeling. Alta Mere removed the old tint and applied a new tint, and it's really made a difference in the look of my car. They got me in on Saturday and were done in a little over 3 hours. Very pleased with the service and the professional job they did. I paid a little more for the lifetime guarantee, but it's worth it. read more

Highly recommend this place. Been coming here for 12 years with multiple cars. Always a great experience and never disappointed. They offer lifetime warranties on tint jobs and stick to it. I stopped in for a few quick questions and to get some quotes on some things I want done to my car. I think I spoke with the owner or manager and he was VERY friendly and helpful. He was upfront and clear, he is not the cheapest place in town, but he does better work and takes pride in what he does. I wasn't looking for the cheapest, I was looking for the best work, so that was all I needed to hear. I will be back and will update after I get some work done. I really appreciate nice people. read more

Too expensive! Go anywhere else for the same tint and you'll save a bundle. Even if they pull out the "Here's what you get" flimsy film from the other guys. It's a gimmick! Save your money and run. read more

I purchased a dual Dash Cam system from a company called Spytech and asked Alta Mere to install it. I wanted a clean professional install. After I got my car I discovered the system was being glitchy. I realized the power cord wasn't seating. On further inspection I discover instead of properly connecting the power source using a line tap. Alta mere had wrapped the bare wire around a fuse! $179 not well spent for an install! The cameras were setup great! Not the wiring! read more

I had my windows tinted a while back but never got around to leaving a review...had to finally leave a review and give Alta Mere the credit they deserve. I was very impressed with the service provided and the quality of my tint job. I have a convertible, and convertibles can be difficult to tint because the windows shift whenever you open or close the door. I scheduled an appointment to drop my car off in the morning and pick it up that evening. It was rainy and cloudy that day, so when I picked up my car, Dan advised that I not roll the windows down for 7 days (usually its only a couple of days if there is no rain). A week later I roll down the windows and all was well, except I could hear a crackle when rolling down my drivers side window. I couldn't see the tint unraveling, but it was clear that way down in the crack of the window, the tint was unraveled. I returned to Alta Mere and had Dan look at it and without hesitation he said he'd redo the window. Had it done the very next day. Great customer service and my car looks great. Would definitely recommend this company! read more

Customer service was great. Tint looks amazing on my new Mercedes. The timing I was quoted to get it done was right on the money. I couldn't be happier with this place. Also, the prices are pretty standard for a quality tint job. Would definitely recommend this place. read more

I recommend this place! Dan was so helpful. He guided me to select the product right for me. Setup an appt, met me outside with a mask, called me when complete - all with minimal contact. This is a great place with caring service. Go see Dan! read more

Was not happy with my tint job. Paid for the expensive ceramic tint but got a sub par install job. My tint has many dirt specks under the tint film that will never go away until its removed and done again. In the past I've had 3 cars tinted by other tint companies and I was 100 percent satisfied even thought those tint jobs cost a lot less. Maybe my basic 2013 car wasn't expensive enough to get the attention they like to give to the Audi's and Mercedes. Bottom line, I'll be looking for a new tinter. read more

I came here to have an ipod/iphone adapter installed in my 2004 Acura. Manager Dan was very helpful, gave me a great deal and gave me a run down of how it worked. After living in MO and CO with no issues, I had to lighten the tint on my Volvo's windows to pass TX inspection. Alta Mere is close to where I live so I figured I'd give them a look. They knew exactly what I needed (and didn't need), gave me a few pricing options and then had my windows finished in just a few hours. Dan is amazing! I took my 1989 560SL Mercedes in to get a stereo system and had the best experience! Even better, the end price was significantly lower than the other places. I am beyond happy and can absolutely recommend Altimere. read more
