When I finally get home I go through the process of trying to find a reputable company to handle the next step. To repair or replace. I find Clear Diamond online by reading reviews, so I figure I'll give them a shot. Since it was after 7pm I thought I'll just email them and wait to hear from them the next day. In less than 5 minutes I get a call back from a very nice gentleman. I answered a few questions, they conferenced in my insurance company, answered some more questions and then I'm approved for a new windshield. Damaged windshield on a Monday night. By Wednesday lunchtime they are meeting me at my office to put in the new windshield. Looks great! Note, I drive a Ford so the original windshield has the Ford emblem at the top. My insurance company says it's on backorder so I wouldn't get it. Clear Diamond had it available. AWESOME. They took an upsetting and annoying process to be quick, easy and painless. These are now my guys!

The technician who came to my house to replace my windshield was very speedy and efficient - he did a great job and was very professional. He was also very friendly and a pleasure to talk to. I will be using this company for all of my future auto glass needs! I did experience some confusion, though. Yelp, google maps, and the website all list the company as Clear Diamond, but their emails and texts as well as phone conversations call the company SafePro Auto Glass. Which one is it??

Based on my vehicle's app activity, they didn't even start working on it until around 1:00 PM, then it appeared to be a stop/start process for the next five hours. Now it's nearly 6:00 PM, the car still isn't done, and I'm going to miss my appointment. The customer service experience was equally disappointing. When you walk in, no one acknowledges you or even offers a basic greeting. It was bad enough that two other customers--complete strangers to each other--were openly joking in the lobby about how terrible the atmosphere was, making comments like "the vibes are terrible in here" and sarcastically referring to the person behind the counter as "a real ball of sunshine." Delays can happen, but poor communication and an openly unpleasant customer experience are management issues, not unavoidable circumstances. This location clearly has a customer service problem, and management needs to take a hard look at the culture and make significant changes.
