More veg variety than the often a little uninspiring coop, local homemade pies, wool of the same brand but a lower price than some in the wool shop, local bakers ad butchers (I didn't see any candlestick makers...). Wrapping paper, all sorts. Of course, there is a good amount of the sort of market stuff I don't plump for, the occasional plagiaristic-ish clothing stall for example, but if you're happy to have a bit of a walk around, then you may well find some good bits and bobs.

The shop is heaving with stock, all higgeldy-piggeldy jammed in, with two ludicrously narrow aisles to navigate down - definitely not a space for wheelchairs or pushchairs, and my large frame struggled squeezing past other shoppers without causing a landslide! I spent some time drooling over some seascape paintings that most people would think were vile, but eventually concluded I have enough bad 70s art on my walls at the moment. Should I feel like having a change around, I'll head back here to stock up on some more vintage pictures!

It is jam packed from floor to ceiling with stuff, so much so that there should be a designated one way system to navigate the store otherwise it's traffic jam central. It is a treasure trove of stuff, literally stuff. There are cabinets full off wade figurines, multiple coffee and tea services, furniture, books, mattresses, clocks, pretty much anything you can imagine is probably hiding in here somewhere. There are stacks loads of books at the back that i was desperate to much through but because of a pile of mattresses and heap of other stuff in front of the cabinets I couldn't get anywhere near them. Price points vary with really cute 50's coffee sets for £4 to G plan furniture from £80. You can definitely bag a bargain here but on other things the owners really know what they have and price accordingly. I was tempted by several things but didn't buy so i'm not sure how they are on the old haggle but give them a try, I'm sure there is room for manoeuvre.

As you would expect, its all clean, well maintained but unless you are used to it, it was a bit confusing, signs weren't brilliant in large crowds. I don't know how the system works as some of the stock they have was in Argos six or seven years ago (where has it been in the meantime?) but it's well worth a look. The items are good quality and have been well stored, but the shop can be very difficult to get around. There is just a massive amount of stock there, and it is often not clearly marked (plain brown boxes etc). So you may have to do some digging around, and keep your eyes peeled. You could miss some great stuff! I think the place could do with its own catalogue, but that's probably not viable considering they likely get daily deliveries of random old Argos stock. So heartily recommended, but you have to go in with either a great amount of luck or a lot of time to really get the most out of it.

We just happened to notice it yesterday as we went for lunch at the Winery nearby (did I say our favorite restaurant in the region?!?!) Today we stopped by to have a browse on a beautiful sunny day. The area is lovely, seems to be a reasonable amount of parking nearby. It is basically an extensive, light and airy shopping arcade. Many wonderful shops like Marks and Spencer's (including their wonderful Food Hall), various clothes stores such as Primark but many upmarket ones too, WHSmiths, Boots, and so much more - eating places galore for pastries, coffee and snacks. Good experience, loved it - we WILL be back very soon (next week we are planning). Rain or shine (since it is all covered) this is a real shopping gem!

I really like the Wyvern Retail Park in Derby. There's always plenty of parking spaces no matter the time of day with great connections to Pride Park and Brian Clough Way. If you're feeling peckish you needn't worry about a trip into town as there's ample eateries nearby from McDonald's through Harvester.

The Mander Centre is the main shopping centre serving Wolverhampton, I called here after watching…read moreManchester City play at the Molineux, hoping to kill some time before travelling back to Manchester, with the trains expected to be busy because of the match. The Mander Centre is a decent sized shopping mall, although a large amount of the units now remain empty, it seems to have slightly filled a bit since the latest reviews for here, with the opening of a large, new Debenhams store, but still the mall can't help but give off a depressing, empty feel, which even happened on quite a big day, with an event in the city which surprised me. The main changes in the development were mainly to create ten larger stores, and that seems to be the only good thing the Mander Center is good for now, as well as housing a Starbucks store (which like the mall is a poor branch and oddly shaped) The layout of the mall is slightly unusual, and it can be hard to navigate especially for a first-timer to the mall with a few large turnings etc. Even the website for the centre is outdated in the sense, it talks about the development plans and store openings for over a year ago now. Shops located here include Boots, Debenhams, Ryman, Superdrug, Three and Vision Express - the overall selection isn't too impressive. The main shopping centre for Wolverhampton remains pretty basic, and although development plans seemed to have improved it slightly, the overall odd and depressing feel remains so I sadly feel Wolverhampton's Mander Center only deserves a two-star rating, which even then I feel is slightly generous.

Worst customer service!!…read more My friend ordered a dress made to measure from this boutique. She ordered the dress 7weeks in advance and was told it will be ready in time. When we went to the shop the man who owns the shop showed us the dress which was the same dress she saw on the mannequin 7weeks ago. The dress had marks and few beading missing. The dress which she wanted hadn't arrived and the owner lied saying the dress in front of us was the new one she ordered. The owner lied so much he had no idea after a while what he was saying. The owner is the rudest person I have come across screaming at the customers. Customers needs did not come first. Owner didn't want to listen to the customer and lied over and over again!! Do NOT shop from this boutique. You won't get what you pay for. BEWARE!!
