They don't serve food but it is connected to the bar next door which a little more upscale. So I'm guessing the owner owns both bars. It's a nice dive bar to hang out at and listen to music. They did update it and add a tunes box which you can pick and choose your music to play. Now they do ask for two forms of so be prepared for that. Yes the bar is a little worn down but the scenery of what it has looked like for years has not changed much. They did use to to have pictures of people that have been at the bar on the walk as soon as you walked in. They have since taken them down. It does get full fast. You will be shoulder to shoulder with people while you are there. You make friends with strangers like I did. Now if you have bubble issues this is not the place for you. Outside of that. Have fun and enjoy this dive bar. You should stop in.

Not much of a menu here--while there are a few bar "cocktails," you're going to have more luck with basics, like an old fashioned, gin and tonic. I asked the bartender to make me something she made well and she chose a margarita (it was fine). Great vibe though. I loved the ceiling and the neon signs. I loved the fun little decorations. Bathrooms small but clean. Staff super nice. I went on a weekday afternoon and it was empty, but they were prepping for NYE, which they predicted would be busy. I'm sure it gets busy on the weekends, especially with a college campus nearby. As I said on another recent Lexington bar review, there are several cute little bars close together that aren't "destinations" themselves, but would be a fun stop on a bar crawl.

It feels like the kind of "hopping" bar you imagined as a kid, with colored lights, loud energy, and retro knickknacks that look straight out of your grandparents' basement bar in 1986 in Milwaukee. It somehow hits the perfect balance between gritty and fun. And the food? Incredible. Everything tastes fresh and made with real ingredients. The pickles were on point, the burgers were outstanding, and the fries were loaded with toppings--honestly more toppings than fries--and I'm not mad about it at all. My new fave spot when I visit.

A foosball table, a backgammon set, deep wood colors and an art deco vibe. This dark, moody little bar had a friendly bartender and unusual drinks. I had the "I Go Where I'm Led," made with kimchi infused vodka, gin, dolin dry, and celery salt. It did indeed taste like kimchi and was certainly weird. I also had the "Need 3," made with prosciutto basil infused gin sotol, amaro obscuro, bitters, and soda. Also a savory, bizarre drink that I'm glad I tried, but wouldn't get again. They have more conventional cocktails as well, like the Paper Plane, Naked and Famous, Corpse Reviver #2. They have IPAs and plain Miller Lites. They have basic red, white, and sparkling wine. Prices range from 8-13 dollars.

The bartenders were very rude, online it says they close at 2, one of the bartenders yelled, "It's time to get the fuck out" at 1:10, right after they had finally served us.
