When you pull up to the red old barn store you will immediately see an old wooden buggy right out in front that is from the days of yesteryear. Step inside the shop you will see it is loaded with wreaths, regional products, local honey, locally made items, gifts etc. There are also 2 beautiful wooden horse carriages from a Bygone era. After you have done your browsing & shopping go across the street The Inn itself has rooms for lodging, there's an inside & outside restaurant & bar. This is the oldest continuously operating Inn in the US dating back to 1716. Drive up the street a bit on the same side & visit the Grist Mill ( a great place to picnic), The Waterfall, The Pond, The Glacier Rocks. Then directly across from the Grist Mill is the Redstone School that's where the nursery rhyme Mary Had a Little Lamb took place, & The Martha Mary Chapel where they filmed Mathew McConaughey Ghosts of Girlfriends Past. I haven't been to South Shore Plaza Mall in Braintree, MA for about 8 years and today I had the chance to go and check it out. There were a lot of stores that I was unfamiliar with that I've never heard of before, but when I seen a store with Bees I knew right than and there I was highly interested. The stores that are my ultimate favorites are all stores that use all natural ingredients in their products with no harsh chemicals and toxins. I have allergies to sulfur and PEGs along with other ingredients that are considered harsh chemicals and toxins that factories put in their food and in their merchandise. I have to be vigilant to what I eat and use on my body. I have to read all the directions, the ingredients and ask the sales associates some much needed information and questions before I purchase anything. I walked into Ivyees Everything Honey for the first time and a sales associate named Zuleica welcomed me with a smile and showed me around to the different products that they sell. She was explaining and educating me on what ingredients are in them. They have a variety of products made from honey such as but not limited to deodorants, teas, toothpastes, facial lotions, serums, bath gels, soaps, shampoos and conditioners, The owner of the store Ivy Lawson walked in to further assist me with additional questions that I had about her products she advised me that all her products are made from free flying bees. Ivy and her associate Zuleica were helpful, professional, knowledgeable, extremely friendly and welcoming they made my visit, shopping experience and my day all that much better and brighter.
