Jose and his son Romero did a great job reupholstering a Craftsman-style settle for us…read more Previously, the backrest was just three uncomfortable pillows, and the base cushion was about as cozy as a park bench. Jose designed a new backrest for the piece, cut at a slight wedge shape for lumbar support, and the result is just so much better than the original setup. The process was not fast, as he had us come back twice to make sure the foam he'd ordered felt like we wanted it to (we returned once to test the base cushion, then once more for the backrest), but I'd much rather have the project done well than quickly. I'm really glad to support a family business of craftsmen who know their trade and stand by their work.

Who knew it was so pricey to replace?! Aby's team responded quickly and scheduled a time to bring in the cushions. Process overview: * We brought our sofa cushions in to be measured. * We reviewed different options for firmness and type of fillings. * We received our estimate and paid. * 1 week later, we received a message that our custom cushions were ready! * 1 week later, we picked up our cushions. Our cushions were wrapped up nicely with plastic upon picking them up which helped a lot with transportation. Fernando also provided stellar customer service at the site and helped me load/unload my car with the cushions which was amazing! I found the prices here to be comparable to what we received from other upholstery stores, if not lower. I would recommend Aby's Upholestry for this service!

Fast forward to today, the chair was saggy, old and the threads were coming undone. A dog at one point even chewed on one of the wooden legs. This chair has a ton of sentimental value to me so I was nervous about handing it over to be redone. I am so relieved I did. The chair they returned back to me is absolutely gorgeous. It's a one of a kind. They redid the wood (which I did not ask them to do). They did a perfect job with the fabric, cushioning and tufting. This was 100% worth it.
