Non-code work and hidden costs caught up to us 5 years later…read more Five years ago, we hired Team Enoch for an HVAC installation, and we are now paying a massive financial price for their horrible workmanship.The issues started right at installation when they left gaping holes in our drywall. They refused to fix them, claiming drywall repair wasn't included in the installation price--something they conveniently failed to mention upfront. We were forced to patch and fix the damage ourselves. Now, five years later, the real damage has surfaced. We just had to completely overhaul our home's ductwork because Team Enoch installed it entirely out of code. Because the ductwork was choked and improperly sized, our AC compressor was severely overworked for years and has now completely burned out. What seemed like a shortcut back then was actually a ticking financial time bomb. If you use this company, hire a third-party inspector to check their work immediately, or prepare to pay thousands to fix their mistakes down the road. Extremely disappointed in their lack of professionalism, transparency, and code adherence.

They then texted me the day after they had made the initial visit saying they'd be here on day 3 between 8AM & 12PM to fix the issue. They explicitly stated in the text "We understand your issue and are coming to fix it". 11:50 comes around and I ask for a more precise ETA. They respond back that they won't have the part until the 13th. So...the two texts you sent that said you'd be here on the 11th were BS? And you waited for me to ask before you told me? This isn't a normal winter. Nothing is normal these days. It's ridiculous to need AC in February, but here we are. I don't have confidence this will be fixed before the weekend. I will gladly update my review if Stellar can prove to come through with a fix and, for once so far in our interactions, deliver true to what they told me. Right now, I'm dubious! The person who visited Monday and diagnosed the issue was knowledgeable and very friendly. The permitting process with the city took a while to work through, and JSR stayed on it the whole time. Alecia, the office manager, sent me regular updates for weeks without me ever having to ask. When things needed a nudge, Charles, the owner and master electrician, went down to the permit office in person to keep it moving. Dani in scheduling kept the appointments and applications on track. Matt and Gage, my installers, knocked out all the work in a single day. Then Gage came back the next day and patiently waited seven hours on site for the city inspector to make sure everything passed. It passed without a single issue. Fair price too.
