My pump was out and I contacted Paul at Marx pump service. He didn't make his appointment the next…read moreafternoon so I called him. He was very nice at first and I texted him my information for my old pump. I asked him how much a new one would be and he responded he didn't know. He showed up at my house the next morning with a new pump. I was at the park with my kids. I came home and he handed me a bill for a 2300 dollar pump. I told him I didn't mind paying a markup because he was so fast but I wanted to know what it was. He told me that is what the pump cost him. I took him at his word and and payed him 2300 for the pump 275 for labor and even tipped him 50 bucks. All in all he spent less then two hours on this project. I looked the pump up online and found it was a 1500 dollar pump. He admitted over the phone he had marked it up 800 dollars. He then refused to refund me any of the money. Do not call him he lied to my face.
