She was treated warmly and felt comfortable right away. The facility is beautiful, new and modern. Didn't smell like a veterinarian hospital so she didn't put her brakes on when she started walking through the front door. Below her eye she had gotten a bump and her eye was swelling. Thinking maybe a yellow jacket or bug bit her. They gave me antibiotics for it. Cleared up in less than a week. They did a thorough check of her and found she did have a broken toe nail, so she got a nail trim also. I did notice they have a sign that if you get 4 nail trimmings, the 5th is free. They kept me informed with several calls and texts during my puppy's stay. They even washed her dirty bed she had thrown up in. The facility is immaculate. Located right in the Heights. They offer several high end foods like Science Diet and Royal Canaan. As well as having a pharmacy. I highly recommend this Animal Hospital. After they took him back the first person to speak to us brought up price quotes and not how our dog was doing. After 20-30 minutes of being there they then decided to ask if we wanted anti venom for him (and it would take 20 more minutes to thaw). We thought that he should have already been given the anti venom because we called to tell them we were on our way when he got bit. We wouldn't take a pet here again in an emergency situation unless it was our only option.

The entire staff was incredibly kind, and the doctor didn't try to sell me on a bunch of additional treatments. I left paying an incredibly small amount for a rabies vaccine and a full exam. Fast forward a year and a my doggie had a dental emergency. I knew I didn't want to go anywhere else, so I waited for the morning and they got me in same day. I saw a different doctor who was equally amazing. We knew we needed to get his tooth out asap (very infected and swollen) so he was able to rearrange the schedule and get him in first thing the next morning. We ended up doing a full cleaning while he was out, and I told him to do x rays and other services to his discretion. He ended up not needing to, and was able to keep my bill to a minimum. I was SHOCKED that with all the services we received I was able to keep the bill under $1,000. (Eval, difficult extraction, anesthesia, cleaning, rabies booster, additional meds during procedure, etc.) It's a great feeling to know that your pet is in the hands of someone who is truly just trying to do what is best for them and not to inflate the bill. They dealt with my anxiety with ease and even my dog didn't seem to be on edge. 100% recommend taking your pet to this place.
