Miranda was recommended to me by another trainer in town who didn't have openings. Boy am I glad I matched up with her! In just a few short months, Miranda has shown me how to guide my girl into making good choices for the situation so she's not just listening to my commands but shaping into an intelligent canine. I appreciate that Miranda has a diverse staff to give exposure/socialization to my puppy. She always makes sure there is a good ratio of people to dogs in day training (note: not "doggy daycare" because they work them!). When I pick up Xena, I get the details of the day: what she did well, what she had difficulty with and how to reinforce at home. Puppy socials are the best (too bad Xena is too big now)! Xena now sees kids and sits her butt down so hard, wagging tail, waiting for a treat. Also, the outings are so good for my puppy to learn being outside around other dogs/people doesn't mean she gets to play play play. In a private with Miranda, she jumps right in to help you figure out solutions to your training problems. She is realistic about what you and your dog should work on to get to the goal you want; adding onto those skills as you both improve. Not everyone wants a dog to jump through hoops. She wants to help you with dog behavior YOU want to work towards; what are you looking for out of your dog training? Miranda will definitely help you make it happen!

She and her team now offer day training which is a serious lifesaver! Who wouldn't want their dog in the best hands ever and also being trained while you are at work?! They continue to impress even as Miranda's business grows. Our puppy now goes to day training on a pretty regular basis and we will start puppy classes soon. Miranda also has a good variety of foods, treats, and toys in her shop and they are reasonably priced which is so nice! Thanks for making it so easy to leave my new puppy with you and your team!!

I asked Leonard to use a closed fist motion to help signal him to sit so he'd be on the same page with my other dog and when I got him back after the three weeks it worked like a charm. Aside from his work, I would give Leonard himself a 5 star review. He's polite, very understanding of needs/wants, and overall was just a great guy to work with. Would be willing to board my dogs with him again if I ever need to!

First, it was $35 dollars then it was $30 dollars. Secondly, the dog sitter who mysteriously only give her name once (if that happened, I don't remember what it was) stopped visiting my apartment space at around 8:40 AM, then changed to two 9:00 AM visits in a row. In other words, she was being specifically dedicated to giving me the lesser experience as possible. Lastly, there was to many personal comments made towards me such as ''I don't do specific times'' along with ''stay out of trouble'' during my college spring break. This came across as disrespectful and made my stomach crawl. In summary, stay a country mile away from this place if you want your dog looked after.

We paid upfront and there was a military discount so our $100 total was now $90 We made our reservation during the Memorial Day weekend for our 4th of July trip because our regular boarding place (MLVH) was full and we did not make them early enough. P&C was available so we booked. We were told by the person on the phone (didn't catch the name) that they would be open on the 4th for pick up only from 4-5pm. (Like their Sunday hours). MLVH is 24 hours access regardless of holiday(it's an emergency vet) so I was not very comfortable at the idea of not having access to him at any point, and we didn't know if we would be able to pick up in that time frame. We made it back to Billings on July 4 and arrived at P&C around 3:50 and called 3 times after 4:00pm, there was no answer I returned to P&C by 6:50am July 5 and they opened early and I went in to retrieve my cat. I was greeted by Kate at the desk who called back for My cat and they brought him in his carrier, the food we had provided and a blanket that was not his. They went back to retrieve the right blanket and I noticed that his food was not completely used. (I will attach pics) We provided two large ziplock bags with pre portioned food and a sheet with instructions in each bag on how to feed our cat, a morning bag of food and an evening bag. on the slip they have you fill out at drop off, we noted that feeding instructions were in the bags, and when we took him to the back at drop off, they told us that we could leave his food on his carrier and they would get the food from there. The evening bag appeared to have not been touched at all, My cat had only been fed once a day for his time there, half of the total amount of food he receives daily. I was heartbroken. My cat has very clearly lost weight during his time at P&C. I spoke to Kate again and asked about the feeding habits they have at P&C and she reassured me that he should have been fed as instructed and that they do it differently than the dogs, the instructions given for cats were what are to be followed. She took my contact information and told me that her employer would be reaching out to me to talk about my cats stay. Kelly called at 4pm and asked about the experience and told me that she had spoke to the person who had first taken in my cat and said that they had only noticed one of the bags, and did not do any further investigation about additional food,I find this had to believe because we left both bags on his carrier as instructed, and they were right next to each other. You could not touch one without touching the others. She told me that he always had food in his bowl, as cats can have a hard time adjusting to boarding places and do not always eat. (We incentivize his eating with wet evening food, but he never received that.) His morning portion could not have been nearly enough for a whole day. I asked why the wrong blanket was brought out when I picked him up when we placed him in the "kennel" with his own blanket and she tried to reassure me that the people cleaning the "kennel" probably had not realized that it was his personal blanket, that it could have been P&C's blanket. I don't know if that means that it was shared with other cats, but we will be washing it just in case. I brought up how we were told when making the reservation that we would be able to pick up our cat on the 4th, but Kelly told me that Christmas, Thanksgiving, and 4th of July are the only holidays that they are closed and was apologetic to hear that no one was available to pick up the phone, but of course there is always someone with the dogs, and the cats too. Kate had told me earlier that the only holidays that they are closed are Christmas and 4th of July. My cat was really agitated on our way home, but Kelly tried to assure me that he had a great time at P&C and she remembers him specifically. I don't know how true that is. I won't make the mistake of not booking my regular boarding place soon enough. I won't put my cat at risk of losing more weight, of not being properly fed, of potentially having his personal items giving to other animals, of not being able to pick him up when I'm told I can, and not having access to get him whenever I can. P&C may be a fine place for dogs, as most of the discussion is centered around dogs, but it is not a great place for a cat. MLVH Has a lower rate, has 24hr pick up and drop off, and sends updates of our cat directly to our phone uninstructed and has never once had a problem with our feeding instructions.

When I wrote a review on facebook... the owner took my info from his records and called me threating me to watch what I say and stated he knows where i live. I would never ever recommend this establishment to anyone in Montana! The owner hands reviews like a child and makes threats which isn't very professional at all. All because I dont like his company. Personally using my info to make threats should be illegal. (I would be fired if I did that at my job) I will be filing a police report and restraining order against the owner since he chose to use to my info for something other then business. Wrong wrong wrong! If you go there I would have them remove your info before they use it for their own pleasure. Awful owner and should not have a business.

When my husband and I adopted her, she was already kennel trained and almost potty trained. She also knew to respond to the "puppy call" in emergency situations, which helped us a few times when wild bunnies got involved. She's always been desperate to please us, and she's a cuddly, curious, clever, playful girl. She has never had any issues with other dogs at the dog park or visiting our home, she stays still for the groomer, and she didn't fight me during baths (even though she hates them). We had a baby last May, and she had been so good with him too. She watches over him, lays next to him, gives him kisses, and shared everything with him. Now that he's a year old, she patiently plays fetch with him, lets him take treats/bones out of her mouth, tolerates him as he learns "gentle hands," and has never snapped at or bit at him. She's been great with our nieces (ages 1-3) and neighbor kids (ages 4-8) too. She loves to play and chase them, but always matches their speed and gives them space so she won't run into them. Though she still has her puppy energy now at age 2 and occasionally gets too impulsive around squirrels and rabbits, she's overall been such a loving, gentle, trainable, beautiful, good girl. We appreciate all the work Heidi put in during those first 3 months of training and desensitizing her to common puppy triggers. We absolutely love her and are so happy that our son gets to spend his childhood with such a gentle and loving 65-pound giant.
