Called Josh and he came out the next day to assess the issues needing addressed. He gave me advice…read moreabout the whole home water softer, which apparently is clogged. We just bought the home in April of 2025 and the water softer was not running when we moved into the house. Once I turned it on, we lost all water pressure. Josh gave me an estimate to have it replaced. My wife did not feel it was needed. The 2nd issue was a faulty install of the previous owners to a hand held shower wand in the Master Bath. When turned on, it would run water into the basement. Josh had to cut a hole in the wall of the water closet to get to the issue, which was a gas pipe installed where a water pipe should have been installed, as an extension. The other issue was a slow drain in the kitchen. Josh and his brother snaked out the drain and found the previous owners had been dumping their grease down the drain. He got as much grease as he could with the snake and then dumped a bottle of Dawn Dishwashing liquid down the drain to break down the grease further down the drain system. Josh's price was extremely fair and I will use him for ALL my plumbing needs.

He willingly explained the process he needed to follow to determine my leak location and let me be involved/watch so that I could understand. My cost was $400 for the service call. He was a kind and thorough advisor. The only thing I would have done differently would be to do a walk through at the end of the service call to make sure my water lines were reconnected to the same water pressure level. I was able to easily reconnect myself though, so it wasn't a problem. Can pay with a check.

Recently had them give us an estimate on some outside plumbing issues and my mother was there to question the expense and the guy that was out was a smart a$$ to her. Way over priced!!! I've used this company for years and they've always been fair -- until now. I recently called them…read moreout for a clogged drain (which we know is clogged), and instead of just snaking it, they insisted on putting a camera down first -- starting at $850. When I questioned why we couldn't just unclog it first and only use the camera if needed, they flat-out refused. The tech got rude and ended up walking off the job. I'm not sure if this was just a bad apple or if things have changed at the company, but it really felt like I was about to be ripped off. I have no problem paying for necessary services, including a camera inspection if the problem persists. But charging $850 just to look before even trying to fix the obvious issue? That's just not right. Really disappointed, and I hope this isn't how they're doing business now.
