And I asked for a few add-ons which Lee, the owner, made sure were done when I arrived to pick up the bike. They also helped me out with the right accessories and helped with a perfect fitting helmet for my son which I really appreciated. They also were not trying to sell me the most expensive things - they were trying to sell me what would work for me. They have a great inventory and treated me so very well. SERIOUS workmanship/customer-service issue!!!…read more Extremely disappointing experience. We would not trust this shop with our bike again. My husband and I brought our dirt bike to this shop for a head-gasket replacement and a diagnostic. We were initially quoted approximately 3 hours of repair, but the final bill ended up being around 5 hours, or $1,100. That's NOT the part that was a problem. We were specifically told that they had run a diagnostic, replaced the head gasket, and test-ridden the bike before returning it to us. When we showed up to pick up the bike, the lead mechanic literally looked at us and said, "Oh fuck." The bike was completely dead, and the seat was still off. We waited 25 minutes for them to charge the bike, which they started for themselves and quickly shut off when my husband went to look at it. Despite this, we were told the bike was ready and that the diagnostic and test ride had been completed. We took the bike home, rode it less than one mile, and it overheated. At that point, we immediately started trying to contact the shop. We called multiple times and received no response. No callbacks. No explanation. Nothing. We eventually got ahold of the owner, who told us that he would take care of it. We expected that to mean the shop would stand behind the work we had just paid approximately $1,100 for. Instead, after the owner had us speak with the lead mechanic, we were told that we could bring the bike back in -- but we would have to pay them for another diagnostic. Let that sink in: We had already paid approximately $1,100 for a head-gasket repair and a diagnostic. We were told the bike had been diagnosed and test-ridden. It overheated within one mile of getting it back. We then had to repeatedly chase the shop down just to get a response, only to be told that if we brought it back, we would have to pay again for a diagnostic. The lead mechanic also opened the conversation with "Let me refresh your memory" and proceeded to speak to my husband with an extremely dismissive and defensive attitude rather than taking responsibility or trying to resolve the situation. Mechanical repairs don't always go perfectly. We understand that things can happen. That's not what bothers us. What bothers us is being charged $1,100, being told a diagnostic was performed and the bike was test-ridden, getting the bike back dead, having it overheat almost immediately, being ignored when we tried to contact the shop, and then being asked to pay yet again to diagnose a problem that should have been addressed by the work we had already paid for. At this point, we're taking the bike to another shop and will have to pay again to get it properly diagnosed and repaired. We expected competent work, honest communication, and accountability. Instead, we got an unresolved mechanical problem, poor communication, attitude, and an owner who said he would take care of the situation only for his lead mechanic to tell us we'd have to pay more money. We strongly recommend getting a second opinion before trusting this shop with your bike. We certainly won't be using them again.

At the beginning of September my father sent in his 1977 Harley super glider shovel head motorcycle into Holt's Ham Recycle in Minturn, CO to get it restored for the upcoming summer. He was quoted 5,000$ for this work and was told he would be notified if there were upcoming issues that caused the budget to be gone over. This motorcycle means more to my father than just a vehicle to transport himself. It is also one of the last remaining pieces of equipment from his father, my grandfather. My grandfather passed away in 2004 and the motorcycle was the one thing my dad had left that was physical and wasn't destroyed or given away in the will. This bike is important to my dad and that's why he wanted to get it restored. He was told after months of the bike being at the shop that they would be in fact over budget by over $2,400. My dad paid the money hoping the bike would be in its best shape. Upon arrival home the bike not only didn't turn over it also didn't even stay running when we finally rewired the solenoid for the starter. We then found the gas tank was never filled nor cleaned out before use. So, we cleaned out the tanks and the rusted carburetor and finally it would idle. Upon putting it into gear it took off. The clutch had never been touched for the $7,400 we spent. Upon closer inspection we found the inner primary cover to be completely cracked from his misuse in tools equipment. These small mistakes could hurt someone who doesn't know how to work on their own vehicle. My father put in a lot of money to get this bike fixed and when he was promised he would be able to ride it to Sturgis he was excited. This will not be able to happen this year or probably next due to this man's poor work ethic and bad quality of the work he does complete. I do not recommend going to this man or company for work on your bike. He will simply take advantage of your money and your time. PS. DONT GO THERE.

My siblings and I have been scouring the web for bike to get our Father. We found one we liked on Craigslist which happened to be being sold here at Motorado inLakewood, Colorado. So I called them up to see if I could get some info on the bike. I live in California and wanted the purchase the bike there since that is were my dad lived. Zach called me back the very next business day. I missed his call and was connected with Chance. Both these guys are just ridiculously helpful. They BOTH went above and beyond to answer the slur of ridiculous questions I had about the bikes I had in question and help guide me to choose the perfect bike for my dad. They send me pictures and videos and gave me every little detail knowing that I could not be there myself. I spent nearly 3 days being extremely difficult and both of them were patient, helpful and went above and beyond to exceeded my expectations. I was able to secure the bike sight unseen with out any unreconcilable commitment. They arranged to have my other family members go and pick it up, and even checked in with me on a daily basis for an entire week to make sure things were in order so that the sale would go smoothly. Let me tell you, Buy a bike from a dealer out of state and not being able to there is not easy! But this was seriously the smoothest transaction I have ever had. We've been coming out to IMI for years, mostly because there are limited options in this area, and…read morethe kids enjoy coming here. I personally can't say I share their enthusiasm, but we continue to come because they enjoy it. That said, I honestly don't understand the recent price increase when the overall experience and facilities haven't improved. For one bike for a 10-year-old, we paid $30, which feels pretty steep for what you actually get. The track itself may be enjoyable for the kids, although I personally think the tracks could be better, especially compared to others throughout the state. Either way, the amenities and overall experience for spectators simply don't justify the increased cost. There are extremely limited shaded areas for parents and spectators. There's basically one small area with shade in a large, wide-open space where most people are sitting in direct sun. More shaded seating would make a huge difference. And the bathrooms are a major issue. The porta-potties are consistently disgusting, there wasn't even toilet paper available for the women. That is a pretty basic amenity to expect at a facility that is charging admission. I also honestly don't remember seeing a trash can anywhere, which makes the lack of cleanliness even more frustrating. I could understand an increase in price if there had been meaningful improvements to the facility. For example, there is plenty of room for at least a couple of pavilions since the tracks are spread out, or even just some additional benches and shaded seating. Cleaner, properly stocked bathrooms, additional porta-potties, and adequate trash cans would also go a long way toward improving the experience. But as far as we can tell, literally nothing has changed. And this isn't a complaint from someone who showed up once and had a bad experience. We've been coming here for years, and I actually left a review two years ago with the exact same complaints about the dirty and unstocked porta-potties. Two years later, we're still dealing with the same issues. The kids want to continue coming, but if you're going to increase the price, then the quality of the amenities and overall experience needs to increase as well. At $30 for one kid to ride one bike, I just don't feel the cost reflects what you're getting. Hopefully some of that additional revenue can actually go toward improving the facilities and making IMI a better experience, not just for the riders, but for the parents and spectators who spend their time and money there too.

She really wanted an adrenaline rush and have some good…read moreold-fashioned fun, so she went to IMI motorsport complex in Dacono. she had an absolute blast, just with the doctor ordered. The people there were extremely helpful. They helped her in and out of the go kart and really took care of her. It is so nice having young adults take care of seniors and watching the seniors have fun. This place is definitely senior friendly. My wife has been there twice now. Highly recommend.
