Recently Jeffrey reached out to us just to stay in touch. That same day the the mortgage company increased our monthly payment by 200 dollars saying our escrow account was short over 2200 dollars. Jeffrey and I contacted the mortgage company . He stayed on the phone with me for an hour with the mortgage company. We finally found a way to to reduce the the escrow account shortage by 1700 dollars and at the same time reduce the monthly payment by 300 dollars. That is 100 dollars lower than the.original payment. JEFFREY IS a true professional who cares about his customers. This was not a payday for him yet he did all he could to help us . Beware of re-financing with this company. I was lured in with a favorable interest rate but they…read morewere so slow with processing the loan that when all was said and done I ended up paying an extra $2000 in fees to keep the rate that they locked me in at. HomeBridge locked my interest rate for 60 days. The appraisal was completed in a timely manner and I provided all documents that they requested in a timely manner yet it took them almost 60 days to get the loan to underwriting. It then took another 30 days to close the loan.. all the while charging me a % of the loan to extend the lock on the rate. Each week, the fee to extend the lock on the rate went up. By the time the loan closed, I was charged close to $2000 in fees to extend the lock on the rate. I wanted to jump ship and switch to another company, but the rates had gone up significantly due to the fact the Trump was elected so starting over with a different company would have lead to losing out on a good interest rate. I wish I had worked with a different company right from the get go.
