The 2 stars are for the dentist and his assistants .. they deserve more . As for the front desk and book keeping , I have been over charged from the first day of appointments and since. Trying to get it resolved a year later and they make you wait on their error. Verify you coverage and what they pay compared to what the office is charging for , ask for a price before getting anything done , so not to be caught off guard as I was on my last visit for over $600 with coverage. read more

I first found Alpine Dental via the internet, searching for one of the best dental offices in the Jackson area. My daughter was having tooth pain, and really needed immediate service. Upon contacting the office, Trina whom is very sweet, and welcoming was able to get her in right away. The staff, and Dentist himself are very friendly, helpful and informative. I was so pleased with the outcome of my daughters dental work, that I began going here for my dental work. While most of the reviews here are positive, and 5 star ratings..., I feel that anyone who has rated less and stated that the staff is rude obviously is unhappy with themselves in some way! Trina, nor any of the staff are rude or difficult. This is a fact. Myself, and my daughter absolutely love them. The dental hygiene staff has care for my cleanings and I am always very satisfied with the results. My whole family has been going to Alpine Dental for years, and we love it! Dr. Ordonez is knowledgeable, thoughtful and professional. Trina, the receptionist, is incredibly warm, and everyone makes us feel like family! All of the dental hygienists are both gentle and thorough. My 5-year-old son has been going to Alpine Dental since he was 3 years old, and he loves going for his cleanings. Dr. Ordonez is probably the best dentist I've gone to in my life. Over the past 7 or 8 years, he has never once hurt me while doing anything. I have a very small palate, so that's saying something. All prior dentists would usually manage to mash my lip against my teeth at some point, or push the mirror or some other implement into my gums. Not Dr. Ordonez. He's also excellent at color matching fillings to teeth. My front teeth needed to be augmented and supported on the cutting bottoms with something, because of the wear after 69 years of being used, and you could not tell there was anything different there when Dr. Ordonez was done. The staff is always friendly and caring. My hygienist recommended I have my teeth cleaned three times a year, instead of twice, and that dramatically cut down on getting any further cavities and the resultant cost. I recommend him without reservation. He has never recommended a procedure that didn't need to be done, and his goal has always been to protect and preserve my dental health. His demeanor is one of calm professionalism, never rushed. He is the sole dentist I have trusted to drill a tooth without first numbing it, because he said the drilling would be quite minor. There's not another dentist I've been to I would have trusted to do that. read more

I was always nervous about going to the dentist they made my experience pleasant and enjoyable and when other dentist told me my tooth couldn't be saved they took care of it and was in fact a simple procedure no need to extract (Thank God). Trina the receptionist is very rude and wouldn't help resolve a billing issue. Every time I called to resolve a billing issue she said that she couldn't help because they were "too" busy. The lady that used to work there before her, Tracey was amazing and would go above and beyond for her costumers. The dentist himself we absolutely loved as me and my whole family have gone there for many many years. I will not return nor recommend anyone to this office due to the lack of unprofessionalism by the receptionist Trina. If I could rate this a ZERO I would. read more

This guy is a bastard. I had an abscess and my whole face swollen. This jerk sh lashed it open and let that nasty stuff run down my throat. Awful taste. While he was trying to make me admit that I was the cause of my teeth being bad and how I was my worst enemy he bounced the back end of a mirror on my bottom teeth where it knock out another filling and cracked two more teeth. Then sent me on my way with NO gauze NO antibiotics and nothing for pain then charged me 196 bux and billed my insurance all the while hearing about sending his kid through college. BEWARE. This guy is all about how much money and not very good as a dentist or anything else for that matter. Very very rude. read more

Let me start off by saying everyone but the Dentist Dr Stanley M Ordonez was very nice and very helpful. When I called to schedule my 4 year old sons initial appointment I asked if the dentist worked with kids and was told yes. I explained that I knew my 4 year old had at least one cavity and that I'd like to go back with him. I was told not a problem. The first visit was great. The Dr gave him a check up and the hygienist was great, She cleaned his teeth and they scheduled us to come back and get the first 2 out of 7 fillings. We went to the next appointment and again we were greeted with friendly office staff. They took us back and the Dr started his procedure. My son did GREAT, no crying stayed almost perfectly still for the first 30 minutes with no breaks. He started to get a little restless but to be honest I would have wanted a break about 15 minutes prior. Dr gave him a 5 minute break then went back to work. Again my son was doing great, getting a little more gaggy and a little restless but was barely moving especially for 4 year old standards. When it was all over, 1 hour later I was so proud. I asked the Dr how he thought he did and he said "To be honest you'll need to take him to a pediatric dentist. He just can't sit still and I can't work like that, the space I have to work with is just too small." I was in shock so much so that I didn't even know how to respond when he said it. I looked at my son and said "You did great buddy, Mommy is so proud of you." I don't think a dentist like that should even agree to see children if thats how he's going to respond. I'd be the 1st one to say if my kid was being difficult but that wasn't the case. I was shocked that my 4 year old was able to sit that still for that long and that he didn't freak over the needle, the drill, the water, the suction, the lights, the bite block. I would have been petrified at that age. This dentist has no business seeing children. read more
