Several others helped him when he got other tables, and none of us felt neglected on 12/1/22. Not every pizza place makes white pizza, but I found it here and it was good. Next time I'll ask for a little garlic and spinach. Husband had the foundation pizza, and added sausage. He asked for oregano, which he got, and we had enough for whomever wanted it. Both pizzas were so good that we ate all of them. Friends had the 1863 pepperoni and sausage, and Festivus pizza with apples and. Cranberry jam. I got a taste of each, and liked both. We did not try the axe throwing, but we saw others enjoying themselves after signing their waivers. The place is huge, with an upstairs section that has an overview of all the TVs, axe throwing sections, and the beer tasting area (get a wristband to serve yourself). We sat on the ground floor in the back to see the making of our pizzas. When we got our bill, it was for just the total. We gave our credit cards to another server before getting the itemized bills. I asked Ryan for the itemized bill so I could tip accordingly - 20% of total bill before the pizzas were discounted. If I hadn't seen the pre-discount, he would have gotten $8 instead of $13. He was worth every dollar!

If you're looking for a truly unique getaway, Ancient Lore Village is absolutely worth it…read more I've visited twice now, and both experiences were consistently amazing. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming--they genuinely make you feel taken care of from the moment you arrive. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I had one of the best nights of sleep while traveling. Dinner was also a highlight--refreshing and flavorful. The crispy chicken was perfectly done, and the tiramisu was delicious. I especially loved staying in the new treehouse. It felt peaceful, unique, and unlike any stay I've experienced before. The archery and axe throwing activities were such a fun bonus--honestly, I've never seen another place offer this kind of experience. It made the stay even more memorable. Overall, this isn't just a place to stay--it's a full experience. I'll definitely be coming back again!

It pains me to write this because the location itself is so cute, but this is by far one of the…read moreworst hotel experiences I've ever had. I had the unfortunate of finding this place and booking through a 3rd party (not directly from their website), and that made the whole experience a disaster. I was arriving in Knoxville close to midnight by plane, so the morning of my check-in, I called the hotel to let them know (out of respect for the staff). I had to call the hotel over 10 times, never receiving a call back to get access to the room I had booked and paid in full. This establishment has 2 major problems: first, their onboarding process is awful and could be fixed with a simple "pre-check-in portal," as many places do, where you provide your information and can choose to book meals, etc. The second problem is that the hotel culture does not understand that they are in the HOSPITALITY business. Everything is inconvenient to them and work for the client, who is purchasing a VACATION. For example, their front desk is open from 8 am to 6 pm, which is fine for a dentist's office, but a hotel should have staff available at reasonable times for overnight guests. Second, the hotel's price is incompatible with a location in the middle of the woods that does not offer breakfast (even a paid option), room service (and by that i mean, daily refresh ot towels, removing trash, refilling the in-room coffee pods, etc) or other basic amenities. I try to support local businesses whenever I travel, but some places are just way too much work to patronize. Skip
