I gave him my NPI and office address, and he starts quizzing me on why I'm calling in a premed antibiotic in Utah when my office is in PA! None of your business dude!!! The patient needed it to be seen for an emergency while he was in UT- I'm his regular dentist. He needed the antibiotic before being seen for the emergency. But this is none of his business! This guy was way out of his zone, and as a result my patient has transferred all of his prescriptions to another pharmacy. AVOID at all costs.

I was shopping for Easter gifts with my son and, since the store does not provide carts, we used…read moreour stroller to hold several stuffed animals and a book while we decided what to purchase. While changing his diaper in the restroom, my son began showing signs of an asthma attack. He has severe asthma, and I immediately rushed him to the car to get his inhaler. In the stress of the moment, I unintentionally left the store with several stuffed animals still in the stroller. As soon as I realized what had happened, I called the store to explain and let them know I would return the items. I mistakenly contacted the West Jordan location instead of the Sandy store and was unfamiliar with the exact city when asked. I intended to return the items after work at 5:00 p.m.; however, at exactly 5:00, I received a call from a police officer informing me I was being accused of shoplifting and needed to return immediately. I fully cooperated and brought back every item as fast as I could. Unfortunately, despite explaining the medical emergency and my efforts to correct the mistake, I was met with a lack of understanding and was issued a citation. The owner explained she was a mom herself with a child that had asthma so I was very shocked to see the coldness and lack of understanding. I cooperated the whole entire time and apologized multiple times This was an honest mistake made during a medical emergency involving my child. And when I told her that she said "well you were at a pharmacy" as if that's the same as a hospital. I acted promptly per my motherly intuition and I to took full responsibility and returned everything immediately, and I hope other parents can understand how quickly situations like this can unfold. I would never recommend this place to anyone, especially those shopping with young children.

I work very close by, and when I fail to bring a lunch to work, the University Pharmacy deli is one of the first places that I will go, because I'm a fan of their noms. I cannot speak to their other sandwiches, but their Vegetarian one is delectable. At a mere handful of cents over $5, this sandwich is a great deal, and is always accompanied by a little side of carrots, olives and peppercinis. [I great option instead of going around the corner to Subway...] What I also love about the Deli is the fact that they are GREAT with substitutions, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. I feel like I'm fairly difficult when it comes to my sandies [I want this, but not that, please add this, and definitely NO Mayo!!], but at the Deli, any substitution or distraction I ask about, they easily work with me on. I will also make a point to stop by the deli and get lunch when they have a Vegetarian-friendly soup of the day, aka usually Tues/Wed: Monday: Creamy Potato Bacon Tuesday: Tomato Bisque Wednesday: Broccoli Cheddar Thursday: Chef choice Friday: Chowder I do feel that the soup is a little expensively priced [especially for a little cup of it, running towards the $3.5 range], but I've always been satisfied while it's being consumed. They have a cute old-fashioned cafe look, with a nice counter to sit at, or surrounding tables. I'm always on the go-go though, so I have them package my meals to head back to work. I would not be opposed to having a breather and stopping to eat there though - it's always clean, rarely full, and you will not smell like Subway all day after walking through the doors.
