Dr. Drake-Forte is the best pediatrician in Alpharetta/Johns Creek area without a doubt. I…read moretransferred to her office when my son was 9 months old and i wish i had done it sooner. His previous pediatrician never took the time to listen to my concerns about my sons respiratory issues and always just prescribed an antibiotic for him and sent us on our way. I found Dr. Drake-Forte to be like a breath of fresh air, she listened to my concerns and explained that she was prescribing him an inhaler and was very knowledgeable on management of asthma. I can happily say that after being in Dr. Drake's care my child has been the healthiest he's ever been. Dr. Drake's knowledge in medicine and her compassion to help babies (and parents too!) will make any one feel secure in selecting her as their babies PCP. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a primary care pediatrician. The office staff is very pleasant and I never wait to long for my appointments. They also accommodate same day sick appointments which really helps! Nurses are very sweet and child friendly. Never feel pressured into any shots I'm not comfortable with.

After having my now 2 year old which is my first biological child I've run into some non serious medical issues that appear extreme to a first time mom of course and Dr. Drake-Forte has always made her self available whether over the phone or in office. She's always on point with her diagnosis. She's a great doctor with a great staff. She has made life so much easier and I could not thank her enough.

Dr. Munshi and her team is beyond caring, honest and warm. Simply the best!…read more I came to North Fulton Pediatrics after having a disgustingly terrible experience with East Cobb Pediatrics (check out my review there if you're so inclined). I was dejected and frankly skeptical of finding a practice for my daughter that I'd be comfortable with given my prior dealings with ECP. Dr. Munshi took her time to go over everything regarding my infant, the charts, any questions we had and what to expect between now and the next visit. Her bedside manner is bar none! It was so refreshing to be treated like a human being instead of an annoying pest. All the nurses we have dealt with are also very caring and take their time. There is no rushing you in and out to get as many patients to be seen as possible. I haven't yet tried using the portal as I had issues with ECP doing so but I asked Dr. Munshi if she ever replied thru it. I appreciated her honest answer: that she rarely did and if it was a real concern I should call in to talk to someone, but that if I did write into the portal, a nurse or someone from the practice would absolutely get back to me. Honesty is everything and I loved that open transparency. Overall I love this practice for my daughter and would recommend anyone to go there even if it's a little further distance away than you'd like (it is for me) just to ensure peace of mind that your child will be taken care of the way you would like them to be taken care of vs. being a virtual dollar sign (*coughEastCobbPediatricscoughcough*)

The practice feels heavily politically biased, which is inappropriate for a pediatric setting…read more Families should not be exposed to political agendas through staff attire or office décor, or various stickers on laptops when seeking healthcare for their children. In addition, there is a strong, one-sided approach to vaccines that leaves little room for parental discussion or TRUE informed consent. Parents should not feel pressured or have their rights minimized when making medical decisions for their children. A pediatrician's office should be neutral, respectful, and focused on collaborative care--not political ideology or coercive medical practices. I would strongly encourage new parents and/or current "clients" to go elsewhere.

Heading: Important experience regarding routine pediatric eye screenings…read more I am sharing our story so other parents can be fully informed and proactive about their children's eye health. In October 2017, my twin boys had their 9-month well-child checkup with Dr. Stebbins, and we were assured they were completely healthy. However, just two weeks later, I noticed my younger son's eyes were shaking. Right after Thanksgiving, I brought them back to the clinic. The doctor on call dimmed the lights to inspect his eyes for the very first time and noted it could be a neurological or ocular issue. Two days later (11/30/2017), an ophthalmologist diagnosed my younger son with retinoblastoma (eye cancer). The specialist told us that his right eye was already so advanced that the cancer was visible right through the pupil. When I looked, I could literally see the white mass inside under the light. Devastatingly, we found out that both of my twins had four to five large tumors in every single eye. Standard pediatric care often includes red reflex exams and proper light tests during routine checkups to catch life-altering conditions early. Unfortunately, my children never received these routine tests during their visits here prior to the diagnosis. While the legal statute of limitations has passed, I feel a responsibility to share this experience. Please, as parents, always double-check that your pediatrician performs comprehensive eye and red reflex screenings at every well-child visit, and do not hesitate to advocate for further testing if something feels off.
