So we leisurely ate our pad Thai, tom yum, and potstickers in the dark while watching the storm. It was delightful. The staff were so sweet and accommodating. (And the towel dispenser in the bathroom worked on battery power! Score!) The atmosphere inside the restaurant stayed calm and cozy. The food was fresh and delicious. The spicy+ was HOT (read: almost beyond the border of what I can stand, and I regularly eat Thai hot). The tom yum was magnificent. Definitely make sure to get the Thai tea, especially if you order spicy. We paid in cash and had no problems. Price was excellent for such amazing food. We would definitely stop here again!

Not many food options at Lake Wabunsee. Especially, breakfast options. The only other food options are The Lodge/Wild Olives or if you go into town. By going into town you would have to go to maybe Wamego, Topeka or Manhattan. The food is reasonably priced. I think we spent maybe 12 dollars for all the breakfast food. So it's priced really well. They want you to place your order the night before because they start prepping the night before. But when I picked up food they had a family of 4 walk up and order. So. I think they probably make extra of stuff. I still recommend ordering the night before if possible to make sure. Unless you like to walk on the wild side. They serve various bbq on the weekends. Like ribs and stuffed chicken or pork and deserts. Haven't tried the bbq but I highly recommend the breakfast.

DO NOT CATERER WITH THIS COMPANY!! The guy was super nice on…read morethe phone when I first talked to him about catering my wedding. He said that he would get an order form filled out for me so that he would know what we were wanting. He then said that the deposit was $200. I paid the 200$ and was super excited! I even was telling all my friends that his food was super good that I had tried at a wedding expo and was just giving him glowing reviews with all that asked me who was catering our wedding! After sending said deposit I got silence...crickets from him. I called and called and texted him multiple times to check in and see if we were still good for my wedding. I finally got an answer from him on a Tuesday a MONTH before my wedding and he had said that he was having a couple family health problems and so on and that July was just not a great month (my wedding is in September) and that he might have another thing going on the day of my wedding so he needed to check with that first to see what he was doing that day. He took my name and number (like I hadn't talked to him before) and that he would make an order form for me (which he already said he did). I have tried since then to call and call and text him to check in again and nothing. I completely understand family health problems but ignoring your clients is absolutely unacceptable. He stole $200 from me and my fiancee and is just a horrible business owner if you can even call him that. I also told my venue lady what was going on with catering since I had asked her for different businesses that she knew of and she had his card from a different event that they both were at. She was very upset for me and said that she will be telling all her clients from now on not to do business with him and that she will never let him do business at her establishment either. I really hope that he feels good that he's a grown man stealing money from a young couple with a little one. Sadly I can't give 0 stars...

Imagine my surprise driving through Junction City when I saw Bulgogi Box on the map!!! I was so excited & couldn't wait to stop here!! I didn't really know what to expect but expectations were exceeded, whatever they were! I got the japchae with beef and the mandu and both were excellent. The beef was soooo tasty, if I came again I'd just get this. But my favorite thing was the cucumber kimchi - not like others I've had where the cucumber is thinly sliced, it was chunky and had big slices of onion and julienned carrots. It wasn't too spicy and was super refreshing. I was sad I didn't get a large! Sooo glad I was able to stop and enjoy here - and it really raises my opinion of Kansas :) Thanks for the delicious food!! Also, check out the owner's license plate - it's BULGOGI!
