A recent Sunday my husband called me from the Kona Target parking lot informing me his car would not start. I drove there immediately to access the situation. We contacted our car insurance co. to request towing to our nearby dealership. After an hour of waiting our insurance company phoned us and said they were unable to get a hold of any towing company to assist us. Needless to say, we were not pleased with this response from them as we have been paying for this service for 11+ years. I immediately googled towing companies near me and proceeded to call the first 2 towing companies listed. Neither answered the phone both went to message. Knowing we did not want to leave our 2-year-old vehicle overnight in any parking lot I searched Yelp! Kona Tow Company was the first one listed with a 5 Star Rating. I called, the owner answered the phone and came down to Target within 30 minutes to assist us. He jump started our vehicle, towed it to our dealership as we requested. We will be recommending Kona Tow to everyone we know! This professional, courteous and kind man will do well in life! Mahalo Keegan!!

We had trouble with a car we were driving in Kona recently. It would not start and we were stuck in…read morethe Taco Bell Kona parking lot. We needed a tow from there to Big Island Toyota in Kona (less than 1 mile away). Our insurance company was going to charge almost $300 for a tow, but Trouble Call Towing quoted us just $89. Not only that, but once we described the problem, they offered other suggestions of how to fix said problem so they would NOT have to come and tow...Which would have meant them losing business and money. The dispatch was SUPER friendly, courteous, and considerate. They sent out a flat bed tow truck within 20 minutes of our call. Russell, the driver, was extremely friendly and had brought jumper cables and tried a bunch of different things before towing us so we could avoid having to pay for such a short tow. Unfortunately, none of those options worked and we did end up having to get our car towed. Russell answered all of our questions, was patient, considerate, and never made us feel stupid for not knowing certain things. Thankfully, we had a second car available for us so we did not need a ride from the tow truck, but he followed us right to Big Island Toyota and spoke directly with them about where to put the car. All in all, we were SO impressed and pleased with our experience with Trouble Call Towing and their employee, Russell. We would definitely use them again and highly recommend them to all!
