AOP is by far the best company to rent from. I have rented in College Station for 11 years and have moved about 10 times until I found a beautiful house I leased through with AOP for over two years. However, I recently subleased to move in with my boyfriend, and I would absolutely lease through them again if I needed to. The Ladies, Sandra and Tamera who manage the leasing office have been very attentive to making sure maintenance requests are handled and corrected in a timely matter, to advising me on how to find a subleaser. They are pleasant in every email that is sent such as reminders of rent due dates as well as friendly recommendations on how to prepare for the cold snaps and to stay warm. Sandra and Tamera show great empathy when speaking, and want to make sure that us as tenants are living well and even ask how we are doing in general. All in all, I feel that these ladies have done an excellent job and have been all around wonderful women to lease from. The rates were reasonable but I don't appreciate being charged for my other roommates' mess. My room was spotless when I left it, I cleared out everyone's junk from the kitchen. Other roommates left their stuff in the bedrooms and painted their walls a different color and I was charged for their errors. Yes I understand it was on the lease, but that's a poorly made lease that needs to be corrected. The charges they made to clean stuff out were ridiculous and unreasonable. I won't say don't live with them, but if you have other options, I recommend choosing those. read more

If there was anyway that I could give no stars, I would. I moved into one of there properties a year ago. My lease is up November 28th of this year and I have turned in my notice and paid my bills on time since I have been there. Now that I have submitted applications to other apts I cant get my rental verifications returned the new complex has been trying to retrieve the verification since Sept. 21st. And this is really the final straw on a long list of issues that I have had with this complex owned by this company. All I want is for my rental verification to be returned to the new property is that to much to ask for. read more

Beware of this company!! They don't know the meaning of profesionalism, or a decent customer service. The only thing they know to do right is dirty business, make sure to never ever sign a lease or pay any money without first seeing the property! After you sign the lease you will never see their faces again, they would not return any calls or show to any appointments. They will take your money and leave you stuck with a mediocre dirty property... Seriously go somewhere else and save yourself a big headache and lost of your money! This is the worst place! Never rent from them they are so unprofessional, rude, and they take your security deposit and use it for repairs they are supposed to pay for. They took 1,600 dollars from me and my other 3 roommates and gave us sketchy reasons as to why they kept it. They Have the worst book keeping skills ever. Three year model tenant in disbelief, at the many improper deductions from my security deposit. Will be heading to JP court to ask that charges for normal wear n tear, management scheduled maintenance and preexisting damages, noted on initial move in check list, be refunded to me, along with applicable penalties.
