Moving my whole family from Hawaii to Texas with no knowledge of how buying a home consists of. I…read moredon't even know what each position are or what they're responsible for. I was referred to Mrs. Kinda Flagg of Simplicity Realty and started coordinating with her via telephone and emails. She is super friendly and very patience with me. She practically had to "dumb down" everything for me just so I understand and feel comfortable knowing what I'm signing up for. Once I got to Texas on my house hunting trip, I was expecting to have a hard time looking at these beautiful homes and deciding. We literally found our home on the same day we flew in lol. We saw approximately 6-8 homes before finding the home we wanting for a deal that was very affordable and fit the little timeframe we had to move in. She picked us up from our hotel and drove all over the place. She's a local realtor and is from the Bryan/College Station area so she knows her way around. My wife and I felt she provided amazing customer service which led us to buying our very first home (3bd, 2.5baths, 1 study room, 2 stories, laundry room, 2 car garage, patio, backyard, 2225sq ft living, and 5600sq ft property for a fraction of what a Hawaii home costs). If you don't know what to do or perhaps you do know, but don't know who to go through because you're not from this area, please give her a call because I recommend her 110%. If she represents Simplicity Realty, I'm sure there are other realtors that will provide amazing service as well.

I recently contacted Jeff to represent me as a Buyer's agent to purchase a fourplex or duplex in…read moreCollege Station. Rather than represent my interests and help me buy an investment, he immediately referred me to one of his own listings. He was not initially transparent about it and I had to ask him to clarify. Nonetheless, I did like it and thought it was great so I asked him to write up the offer. After weeks of waiting, back-and-forth, and document preparation (the documents he sent over had several mistakes), he ultimately said that the seller wanted to back out of the deal. We had agreed to the deal in email and verbally and there was never any question that we had a deal and would close. I passed up other deals and dropped other negotiations that I was having to buy other properties so I could focus on this one. Jeff caused me economic loss. Throughout the process, Jeff was difficult to get ahold of, and I think he did not operate in good faith and was not transparent with his maneuvering behind the scenes. He lacked professionalism and attention to detail. Perhaps worst of all, upon backing out of the deal we had in writing (email) and verbally, he simply disappeared. He could have called me, been professional, and helped me find a different property. I still have cash and want to buy something! He could have even just went back to the Fourplex I initially wanted to buy. I suspect he disappeared because he was ashamed of what he knew to be unethical behavior. I'm surprised a reputable firm like Century 21 would allow Jeff to hang his broker's license there. I've done several deals as a buyer and seller. For investments and to live in. My mom is a broker in Oregon and I've been around the business for over 25 years. I was even a licensed broker myself for over a year. I respect the profession and appreciate how hard brokers work - but I've also seen my fair share of good and bad brokers. Jeff is not one of the best. I'm really disappointed.
