It took 5 weeks from initial loading to final delivery. Every problem got redirected to "independent contractors." Redman disclaimed responsibility for the driver, and the destination crew -- supplied by a local staffing agency with apparently zero moving experience -- dropped and broke a long list of our belongings. 3 months later, here's what's still unresolved: $2,500 -- a frame TV that worked when it left Utah and was dead on arrival. Their own "specialist" packed it in a box labeled "this side up" on two opposite sides, so it sat upside down in our garage for 6 weeks. Claims says there's no visible damage, so they won't pay -- despite us paying extra for specialist packing. $500 offered for a gouged hardwood floor, gouged baseboards, and a chunk missing from a wall -- nowhere near repair cost. The claims coordinator wants before/after photos we don't have, because we'd just bought the house we were moving into. 1 rug and 1 bottle of whiskey -- taken by the movers in front of our driver, who watched them load it into their own car. The movers claimed we said they could have it. We didn't. Claims still wants "proof" it's missing. 1 air hockey table -- disassembled by the movers and never reassembled. Redman blames the movers; the movers say it needs a specialist. It's still in pieces. 1 mirror -- still crated in our garage. We refused to sign a liability waiver to have it loaded, so Redman rushed in a specialist to crate it. Now they say uncrating it is our problem. 1 destroyed electrical outlet -- run over by the box truck used to shuttle our belongings from the truck to the house. Claims wants a "before" picture to prove it wasn't damaged prior to the move, even though the "after" pictures show fresh tire tracks the day of the move. Nothing about this move was organized, and nothing about the aftermath has been handled professionally. Pay a little more and go with a different company.

First off, they didn't have their own moving truck or proper tools. They rented a moving truck from U-Haul, and buy moving supplies from there as well. Since I only needed a bedroom set moved, they rented a trailer instead of a truck. Not only did they slightly damage my furniture, he said he'd have a plastic mattress cover, but apparently UHaul didn't have a king plastic cover that day, so they showed up without one, and then proceeded to absolutely trash my fabric mattress protector they used instead of the plastic cover he quoted me for. I immediately had to toss it once they put the mattress on my bed frame in the new location. The two bedside tables didn't get banged up, but the bed frame and dresser saw the move. Once they arrived more than an hour late, and began taking my bedroom set apart, they asked to use my tools. I handed them my tool bag and went on doing my own thing while I waited for them. They loaded everything up, including a small television for me, and off we all went. They unloaded my things, and then he said he needed $400 more than he originally quoted me in order to pay his helper for taking so long. His mistake, and he asked me to pay for it. We overheard another telling the new guy "if a job goes past 3:30, they won't make us do a second." And they were so inefficient! The truck had a ramp and an elevator lift, and they used the lift for every single box. They were taking their sweet time. When we got to my new house the foreman handed me an iPad with the charges, and--before I said anything--told me that if I had any issues with it I should call corporate. And then he sat down and got on his phone. Listen: I get that there are travel charges. But we traveled, one truck, from North Salt Lake to Millcreek--maybe 20 miles. So why was the travel charge more than $500 and an ADDITIONAL fuel charge more than $350? And that's to say nothing of the "packing materials" which we never asked for or were quoted about--another $240. And of course now labor was nine hours, not four. And they wouldn't unload the truck until I paid. They were holding my furniture hostage. Well I paid. But I have been told twice over the phone that they are going to investigate, and it's been ten days of nothing. Do not use this company. Especially not the Utah branch.
